I’VE USED THESE BOOKS FOR YEARS!! Ibe bought several throughout the years for my journaling, and it has been the best choice ever. The lines are quite wide, so if you prefer thinner lines, it isnt for you. I love how sturdy they are, so being able to fold the book back and lean on it doesnt disturb the integrity of it. would always buy these bad boys. the designs are also STUNNING!

Very Expensive Paper
I bought these for my daughter in high school because they are the right “aesthetic”. Hopefully, whoever is reading this knows what that means becuase i grew up with paper, wooden pencils and trapper keepers. When silly me questioned the cost of what is essentially just paper, I was told that by buying cheaper products, I am a tree killer. So I saved some trees and made my daughter happy so I guess that makes this purchase a win win.

Love this Pegasus journal cover
I have purchase Decomposition journals previously, its hard to find novelty composition books with college ruled lines. The selling point to me besides the cover art (they have great artworks on their journals) is that its made from recycled paper. Its good quality recycled paper, as its not the type that has discoloration/textured that can affect writing with an inky pen. The paper is great for inky pens (no bleed through on pages or smearing), pencils, gel pens, ball points and the covers are sturdy. I hope they also do a Pegasus spiral notebook, but will make do with the very cute cat astronauts notebook in the mean time. Highly recommend buying from this stationary company, its nice to see some products made from recycled goods that are high quality.

Great college-ruled composition book—I’ll definitely be ordering another when mine fills up. I’m using it as a journal for a college composition class, and it could not work better, not to mention everyone loves the dinosaur design! The pages are noticeably thicker than ordinary loose leaf, and even my fountain pen doesn’t bleed through. On the inside of the covers is a random collage of facts and art, and since I didn’t know about it before I purchased it, it was a lovely surprise. The binding is tight and neat, but I wouldn’t consider it sturdy—not sturdy enough to be rough with it and sling it around or break the spine and fold the front to the back. It’s only bound with a single string, so if you tear out a page in the front, you’ll have to catch the adjacent page in the back, because it won’t stay by itself. It’s been about a month and a half since I purchased the item, and so far, there are only a few ‘chips’ towards the bottom where the design is flaking off of the cardboard, but it’s nothing major, so it’s no concern of mine. Other than that, it’s holding up well.

Love this Decomposition Book
This decomposition book is fabulous. I write a lot and these are the only writing books/journals that I use. They do cost more than regular composition books, however the 100% post-consumer-waste recycled pages make the extra cost well worth it. They are printed with Soy Ink and best of all, made in the USA. The fun bonus are the graphics on the inside of both the front and back cover!

Je cherchais un cahier qui fasse un peu journal ou livre, plutôt que cahier d’école, avec un côté un peu rétro. Le produit répond bien à mes attentes. La couverture rigide est joliment décorée (par contre le dessin est violet et pas noir comme sur la photo mais je préfère, en fait). Les pages sont lignées au lieu des petits carreaux, le format est plus grand qu’un petit cahier d’école. C’est idéal pour faire un recueil de cuisine, tenir un journal de bord… Seul petit regret on ne peu pas écrire à la plume car l’encre fuse sur le papier.
