Premium RGB Bluetooth Speaker without the premium price
Short story: I am pleasantly surprised by the build quality, the feel of the analog volume knob also felt premium.Longer story: The pairing wasn’t that straightforward at least for iPhone 14 Pro Max so I switched over to a Samsung Galaxy S20+ Ultra and that worked perfectly connecting over Bluetooth. Going on with my testing, I tend to be a stickler for audio latency and at least for the S20+ running YouTube TV, the A/V sync is definitely a challenge. For music there were no issues. Audio levels were loud, power was also decent when I cranked it up noting there was no distortion which I found to be a big plus. Charging over USB-C seems to be a little temperamental. I used a 65W GaN USB-C charger which it didn’t like. I did have success with a lower powered charger.NOTE: I reset bluetooth on my iPhone 14 Pro Max and was able to pair successfully and ran the same YouTube TV test and there was no audio latency. It performed very well. Same audio loudness as the Samsung S20+. I suspect the S20+ was just using an older bluetooth radio.The fit and finish of the speaker was also very nice with the matte black finish, the RGB lighting which supports a variety of settings.At the price point offered, I feel this is a very good value for the money and would recommend it.

Speakers connected easily. Have had no drops in connection so far. Volume is pretty good for the size. Bass level isn’t anything special, but not a deal breaker. RGB lighting is a nice addition, and can turn off it not wanted/needed. My only real issue is the function buttons are just touch buttons, and while it may be just me, I had times where they would not register my touches. Battery life seems to be really good too. At $54.99 (at time of order/review) I personally feel that is a little high for what you get, but not by much.

Very nice portable soundbar for everyday listening.
Iâve been using wireless portable speakers for several years so I can listen to music when I am doing chores or just relaxing. Sometimes I use earbuds, but many times I want to hear the sounds around me instead of having music or books blaring in my ears. My older single-speaker devices have worked great, but they are starting to show their age. Batteries donât last as long anymore.I use a larger soundbar with a bass module on my TV and have considered several smaller, portable ones. The one I purchased previously is nice, but it lacks some frequency response at the high and low ends and did not last long on the batteries. Not that my old ears can still detect a lot, but that one really lacked low-end bass.I saw this one by Kasohqee, and it claimed to have a Boost Bass feature, so I decided to check it out. After using it for a while, it’s very niceâgood sound quality for my needs. Not too loud, and I can’t detect any distortion. Iâm not after high-end sound like what youâd get from top-tier speakers; I want something that sounds good. Portability is a great feature, and if desired, you can connect it directly to a computer using the supplied cable. Other features include the LEDs, which can be programmed to cycle through different colors or follow the music using the touch buttons on top. I took it with me to a family event, and the kids loved the light shows. Overall, the impression from the group at the party was pretty much the same as mine. Great speaker, good sound, loud but not too loud.In summary, if youâre looking for a nice speaker for your desk or one to carry and use outside, this is a great choice. Lightweight, very portable, and decent sound for the price. Recommended without reservations.

At this price point….not a top contender to other units in performance
This review is solely on sound quality. Look at my graphs, you can see it has reasonable response from about 150-13kHz. The power lines are RTA plots with the mic moving around, and the upper plots show the difference in bass levels. The “bass level” adjustments from 1-4 barely registered as I measured each, but distortion crept up on 4, so I did my listening portion of my testing on level 3. At the asking price, this thing is closing in on higher end speakers like the JBL Flip. So, I grabbed one of mine, a model 4, and compared directly (in the included video, I switched between the two…listen on high quality headphones or a sound system to discern the difference). The bass performance is not comparable, despite the larger form factor of this unit. You could put two Flips in the same space. IMO the stereo separation on this guy is pretty good, perfect for a small desk. I just wish it had more bottom end for the size and price. Passive radiators on the back or side, perhaps? As it stands, it doesn’t have the performance to justify the price, in my opinion. Id love to review one of these with improved bass OR perhaps a micro sub to pair with it to reinforce the bottom end.
