You will love this
I always buy gold bond products they are very effective against dry skin. This one in particular is very good with itchy skin. I love the tingling afterwards. You can smell the minty scent when you lather the lotion on your skin.

I have sensitive skin and I’m constantly breaking out in hives and am itchy all the time. This lotion helps sooo much and i love the smell. It comes on the skin and immediately has a cooling effect. The itch goes away instantly and it has this good tingling sensation after due to the methanol, in a good way. I don’t write reviews often but I absolutely love this and everyone I have recommended this to has also loved it. Definitely worth the money and it’s a huge bottle. Lasts for a while. Better than any other lotion ive ever used and it’s really moisturizing as well

I started working out a few months ago and because of that my skin has been so extremely dry. Like, ridiculously dry. Part of it is because I’m not drinking enough water, part is due to weather conditions/wind and lastly I am just prone to dry skin especially in the winter. I have tried aquaphor as well as many other name brand lotions specifically for extra dry and itchy skin and none of them have worked the way this Gold Bond Medicated Menthol lotion does. First off, it smells AMAZING – if you don’t like the smell of menthol you will not like this lotion. It’s not overbearing but you do smell menthol. Fortunately, I love it. The menthol also cools so incredibly well and soothes even the itchiest skin. Secondly, a little goes a long way – it spreads really well and the consistency is this deliciously creamy thick menthol goodness. Thirdly, it soaks in fast and is not greasy or wet at all. It leaves your skin feeling soft, quenched and delicious. I don’t know how else to describe it – it just feel amazing in every way! I can’t wait to try it when the mid-west winter sets in. Overall, I am so impressed with this lotion and don’t see a need to use anything else. I wish I had discovered it sooner!

I live in the South where bugs, humidity and dry skin are guaranteed. I finally accepted fancy great smelling lotions don’t do anything besides smell nice.This.. this lotion is AMAZING!Yes, it smells like mint but the smell doesn’t last. I use it daily and 15 minutes after I’ve applied it I use my smell good lotion and you can’t smell the mint whatsoever.It stays soaked into your skin through the ridiculous heat and humidity.My 1 year old grandson gets really dry skin under his knees from crawling. This keeps him from itching and ultimately has cleared the rash.The best part… this isn’t guaranteed but for myself and everyone in my home its true – it keeps bugs off us when outside. I’d assume it has something to do with the mint and the taste or smell. Whatever it is I’ve not had a mosquito bite or even one fly close enough to bite.Its not greasy or oily, soaks into your skin quickly, leaves a slight tingling sensation when applied but goes away quickly. This is a lotion you dont need to wipe your hands off after applying so you can use it on the go and not worry about leaving oil marks from your hands all over.I highly recommend if you have extra dry skin because it really works.

Great for Heat Rash!
I get heat rash often during hot, humid weather and this helps reduce it, before or after the rash starts. It helps to reduce itchiness, bumps, and redness. The lotion is thick and coats my skin well for a few hours without a bothersome smell or stickiness. My only complaint is that the menthol isn’t as strong as I was hoping: it cools but not very strongly like aloe vera. Overall, a great lotion for the price!
