Handy well made tool for the DIYer and handyman, drill bits seem cheap..
This is a well made and pretty handy tool to have around if you need a third hand when setting up cabinet doors. I have been building a lot of shop carts and shop cabinets lately in an attempt to organize my garage. Mostly making drawers, but did have one cabinet that has two cabinet doors covering my car cleaning and detailing chemicals and pads. This tool was fairly helpful in setting the cabinet doors in line with each other before installing the hinges. It would be better if the arms extended a bit further to hold the doors, because being by my self trying to do this was a chore. I would normally do this before mounting the cabinet on the wall, but this was an afterthought and I did not want to take it down again. Since I had planned on using the push to open magnetic catch type door holders I did not utilize the drill bits. The bits provided are brad point bits and appear to be pretty cheap quality anyway, although the largest one seemed to run true when I chucked it in to my drill press. I think they will work for a few holes anyway.This tool could also be used for setting dowels at a 90 degree angle, which could be handy. It appears to be a well made and sturdy tool made from thick machined aluminum plates then anodized orange. The scale on the tool is easily readable and the top adjustment handle offers a good grip to tighten it. felt stickers are provided to protect your cabinet surfaces while using the tool which also does a good job of helping the door not slip off during setup.I think this is a handy tool to have around if you are constantly building cabinets with doors. It is geared more towards the DIYer than a professional in my opinion. I also think it is on the more expensive side for a tool that will probably not see that much use….

Helpful Cabinet Door Jig!
I ordered the Hanzapor cabinet door installation jig and used it to install cupboard doors in my kitchen. It didn’t come with any instructions, but it was easy to figure out and use, with the exception of the drill bits. The horizontal door positioning tool is only 11/16-inches wide, so there is not much area to balance the weight of the cupboard door. I did experience some difficulty keeping the door perfectly aligned, while trying to secure the hinges.The jig is made of a durable aluminum alloy with a scale ranging from 0-30 units to accurately align the position of the cupboard door. Verify that the positioning bar is true horizonal before tightening, because there is a little play in it. I like that it came with stick on pads for the shelf clamp and positioning plate, which will help protect the cabinet surfaces.This kit includes a mounting jig, three drill bits with stop collars and bushings, and two Allen wrenches. The drill bits are 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm, but I wasn’t able to determine their purpose for installing cupboard doors. With that said, I do believe the center hole alignment can be very useful when drilling holes for other projects.Overall, this cabinet door jig is a good quality tool to help align and install cabinet doors with precision.
