Perfect for Metal Braces when building/modifying Furniture
I can’t believe I am writing a review for screws, but here goes. You specifically want a 3/4 inch screw because of this:-On all boards, every kind of size. When you go to the hardware store (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) 1-inch wood is never really 1-inch. When you have an 8x60x1 board, it’s really 8x60x.9-ish It’s slightly smaller/thinner because of the process of cutting it. Due to sawblade thickness, that portion translates directly into sawdust during a cut. Composite and pre-made furniture can be even thinner (because it cuts down on cost) so measure the thickness if you are modifying or bracing one of those. You want this particular screw (or something similar) for these scenarios:-When you have black braces/brackets and you don’t want a shiny metal screw-head becoming an eyesore.-A screw does well with painted braces/brackets.-Screwing in ornamental pieces into you furniture (like fancy metal/brass corners)-A screw that does well with darker wood stains (Less apparent)-A generic screw that can be used wherever because no one is going to see it in the back, or underneath shelves.I myself, use these for brackets and braces so when I look at my amateur custom-built entertainment center I can say, “Hey, that looks pretty good!”.

Yup, this is just what I was looking for, at a fair price
I’ll start with the semi-con; they seem a little slight in the shaft. But that’s not critical to me at all. I suspect anyone looking for 3/4″ screws are gonna be satisfied with these. They’d never be meant to hold any thing dramatic, but to tack something up, and they will definitely do that. They ARE coarse-threaded, which means anything put there will stay. They’re exactly 3/4″, with no scrimping there. These are going into my tool drawer at home right now, to be there when I opine that ‘these screws are nice, but I wish they were just a little shorter.’ They’ll be needed and appreciated. Lotta words, but they’re worth a “4.”

Versatile!
My go to fastener when the common 1″ drywall screw is just too long. Keep a couple hundred of these on hand in my fastener box. Has saved the day for me several times on various installs.
