Superior-Mulching: Oregon Gator Blades re-cut grass clippings to re-cycle nutrients back into your lawn. Giving it a healthier look, without using fertilizer. Patented Tooth-Twist and geometric design to increase air-flow.
Sharp-Cut: Gator Blades are sharpened at the optimum angle to provide a clean-cut from the first mow. The milled-edge reduces the chance of tearing grass, which can lead to the browning of grass tips due to infection.
No Clipping Left Behind: Gator technology makes sure that when bagging the majority of clippings end up in the mower bag, not in the lawn. Reducing the time for clean-up

Good Quality
These blades were exactly what I needed. I was looking for mulching blades for my Craft sman mower 3-blade 54-inch deck and these are excellent. They really blend up and mulch well, much better than a standard blade. Factory fit and looks like good material, no complaints at all. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic
It’s the third set for my 54″ Husqvarna zero-turn. After a few cuttings with the OEM mulching blades, I was disappointed with the larger-than-expected clipping size it left behind. 25hp should disintegrate average-height clippings at full blade speed, the only speed I run in mulching mode.I checked around for user reviews. Husqvarna commenters recommended this Oregon brand, so I gave them a try. I saw an immediate, noticeable performance improvement. The 1-acre yard is Bermuda grass. Bermuda grass is subject to clipping buildup that inhibits yard chemo treatments. Having had Bermuda grass for many years, the pre-mulching solution was renting a mechanical de-thatcher and cleaning up a huge mess of removed thatch. After 3 years using the Gator mulcher system, I don’t see the noticeable thatch buildup that would require de-thatching.I’ve taken some time here to brag on these Oregon Gator blades as they are just about as good as it gets.Lay the blade designs side by side, and with a minimal understanding of aerodynamics, the operational difference is noticeable. These Gator blades are sharpened on the bottom as expected, but they include three wicked-sharp ‘canards’ on both ends to lift clippings in a whirlwind to macerate clippings from the top side.Resharpening the bottom-side edge is standard. Another matter is how to resharpen the double-contoured canards effectively. Replacing the three blades yearly requires less effort and better performance than fooling with resharpening and potential balance issues.

Good quality blade
Construction is symmetrical and clean. Black finish was cleanly applied.Wish they came a bit sharper but they were the same as others I’ve bought.Recommended 4.8 stars

Clearly better than OEM.
Hats off to the guys who can actually mow this time of year. My Craftsman Garden tractor has the mower deck off, with a snow blade up front and snow chains on the rears. The past few years I have exclusively purchased Oregon’s 595-605 blade sets. These new (A-54-3G) blades are a different breed. While both are mulching blades, that’s where the similarities end. These blades aren’t as wide (3 inches vs 2 1/2 inch) and they don’t come with the tungsten carbide edge. That is a big deal. The new blades do come with “Tooth Twist” which in combination with a revamped blade sharpening angle allow for “One Pass Perfection.” We will see.Up to now, we have come to use Oregon’s nomenclature as a way to understand their blade characteristics. My standby blades are G5’s. I think these are a G3 version, though I can’t find it written anywhere. Blade speed has been emphasized. The airfoil rear teeth are designed to blow grass clippings back to the blade center for additional cuts.I will install these in the Spring. I have come away thinking that these blades are designed for suburban lawns, maybe at a lower price point. Out here in the rural area’s, we’re often trying to keep things knocked down. The heft and toughness of G5’s will be hard to beat.

Fantastic!
I have a Craftsman GT5000 with a 54″ deck and a 25HP motor. On my 21 acres, about 2 acres around the house/garage/wood cutting shed I keep mowed back during the summers here in Montana. I’ve always used OEM Craftsman blades. Out of the box, these Oregon blades are clearly better quality! Unfortunately, I received these as a back up set after the mowing season was over. I’ve already switched out my quasi new blades on the tractor with these and am looking forward to using them!!
