Excellent Rack Screws & Cage Nuts
Excellent quality and does what they are intended for. Included cage nuts are a nice touch as I have a square hole rack. The 25 pack is definitely sized for a 6U Rack as you get enough pieces for every slot and for your equipment mounting. There is a few spare screws and cage nuts left over. Overall would highly recommend especially for the price!

There are a few bad reviews out for these screws. But I’m giving 5 stars they are great for all my rack equipment. Go in nice and smooth and tighten down good and hold tight.

I recently purchased the ECHOGEAR Server Rack Screws 25 Pack for my home server setup, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with their performance, earning them a solid four-star review.Firstly, the screws themselves are of good quality, with sturdy construction and a durable finish. They fit snugly into standard rack mounting holes without any issues, providing a secure hold for my equipment.The inclusion of a generous pack of 25 screws is appreciated, ensuring that I have an ample supply for future installations or replacements. The resealable plastic container they come in is also a nice touch, keeping them organized and preventing any accidental spills or losses.However, there are a couple of areas where these screws could be improved. Firstly, I found that the threading on some of the screws was not as smooth as I would have liked, requiring a bit of extra effort to screw them in securely. While not a dealbreaker, it did slow down the installation process somewhat.Additionally, it would be helpful if the pack included a few extra washers or cage nuts for added versatility. Very nicely engineered
As a Ham Radio Operator, I have a couple of commercial communications racks that hold various radios and networking panels. The racks didn’t come with matching screws, and I’ve foraged around spare parts looking for screws. Some fit well, some didn’t. So searching for “rack screws” I came upon these. I was very pleasantly surprised how nicely they are engineered. They seem to have an ever-so-slight taper to the threading, so the farther in that I turn the screw, the better it holds. There’s also a rubber washer that locks them in place, and eliminates rattles. They even came with some rail fasteners that will be useful to some people, although my racks don’t need those. I like that the TIP of these screws has a pilot nub to guide the screw into place before tightening. I bought this pack of ECHOGEAR Rack Mount Screws along with my server rack and I’m glad I did. It’s definitely worth getting all the compatible parts to ensure a secure installation.These screws feel super sturdy and provide a solid connection between the rack and its components. The included washers also help distribute the weight evenly, making it difficult for anything to come loose.

These are amazing screws. The inclined plane helically wrapped around a tapered cylinder provides the best screwing experience. I have to say I have never screwed as smoothly and efficiently than with these screws. They have provided the pinnacle of screwing experience and allowed me to securely mount my rack hardware with ease. No lubrication needed, the taper taps the hole perfectly and provides smooth and reliable screwing. No crossthreading at all.
