Great Speakers – Superior Sound
If you are looking for a more budget sound bar for a secondary TV or computer, look no further. These offer superior sound which isn’t really comparable with the more expensive sound bar brands (obviously) but provide great sound for the price. The system is incredibly easy to set up and I did not need to look at the instruction manual, as everything was clearly marked.The sound bar can detach into two speakers that can sit on separate stands. Both the sound bar and the stands connect with a twisting motion; zero assembly is required, which I love. The included remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included. The remote is great and allows switching between different outputs (HDMI ARC, bluetooth, AUX, USB and optical). There is a bass control option that can be as set as low as -2 and as high as +1 (boosted). The bass boost is great, though the sound bar should be set to 0 for a more balanced sound.A couple of notes about the product – the right speaker is what everything plugs into, There is no indication on the speakers on which one is the right speaker, which would have been nice to have, because it’s difficult to tell after the sound bar is disconnected and set on the stands.The left speaker is about half an inch taller than the right speaker, which is noticeable. If you like symmetry, it may bother you a bit.The product does not come with batteries for the remote or a 3.5MM male to male AUX cable. It comes with a 3.5MM male to L/R (white and red) cable. A separate 3.5MM male to male cable, or a white/red to mono AUX adapter, would have been nice to have. Fortunately, I had an extra cable lying around.Overall a superior product for the price. I recommend it and would buy it again.

Good sound for the price
For the price I paid, I am very happy with this sound bar. I have it in a relatively small room, and I am using it with the speakers split and not as a bar. For the TV, I use the HDMI eARC plugged in. I use Bluetooth for playing music. I find the fidelity to be clear and the bass is strong. Controls are simple. 3 different pre-sets for different uses, and the bass can be set to different levels. I followed the instructions for setup, which was fast and easy. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles (no Dolby Atmos), so don’t expect the experience of a $500 sound bar. If you want to hear your TV or enjoy your music, but don’t want to break the bank, this provides a good sound experience.

Excellent customer support took care of “buzzy” faulty speakers
Updated review to 5 stars:Juliette from Ultimea customer support contacted me after my original review and offered an exchange of the more advanced NOVA S50 unit for the faulty Apollo S50 unit. The new unit arrived promptly, and 4 days in it continues to work flawlessly. I want to commend Ultimea for their excellent customer service.Original 1-star review:Really wanted to like this sound bar.- Great design with being able to split it into left and right parts, and set upright if you wish.- Price was very good.- ARC set-up was finicky in that when I turned the TV off after the initial set-up (done watching TV) and later turned it back on, no sound came out of any speaker, TV or sound bar. Checked/reset all the settings and connections, and then it worked.- On day 3 the speakers started buzzing. Have never cranked the volume up (TV and sound bar are in a small living room), so that’s not the reason. Turning the sound bar on and off will stop the buzzing for a little while but it always comes back.Too much trouble … will be returning this.

4.1 I indicates 4 speakers for 1 subwoofer. This is actually 2.1 as the single sound bar separates for 2 individual speakers, with a tiny, weak, and almost non-existent bass response from what’s supposed to be a subwoofer. I connected with HDMI for a better connection, but tried the others to be equally disappointed. As long as there’s absolutely no music to enjoy, they do work. The thing is, they sound just like the bad stock TV speakers of about 30+ years ago; only louder. It’s my fault, really. You get what you pay for, and with no proper way to preview you are far better off skipping this one. If sound quality means anything to you, your search really should extend beyond this flop. I’m amazed so many people have reviewed this positively. I’m guessing they don’t care as much for quality as just getting louder. To each their own, but I will be replacing this asap.

As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon.This ULTIMEA Soundbar plus Subwoofer arrived in a sturdy cardboard box protected by foam; also inside the box are several cables, stands for the Soundbar, wall mounts and a User Manual.I ordered the Soundbar with Subwoofer for the TV in my bedroom as the sound on the TV was really tiny. I had looked at lots of different Soundbars and this Soundbar looked very good value for money, especially as it included a Subwoofer.The Soundbar was very easy to set up, I used the included HDMI Cable which I plugged into the HDMI ARC socket on my TV and plugged the other end into the HDMI ARC socket on the Soundbar, next I plugged in the audio cable from the Subwoofer into the back of the Soundbar, then plugged in the mains lead, and switched it on, I pressed the ARC button on the remote, and the TV automatically recognised the speaker, and because I am using the ARC connection, I can now control the sound, and switch the power on and off from the TV remote.It can also be connected via Bluetooth, Optical, AUX and it has a USB port, and all the cables are included in the box.I must say the sound was so much better than the TV speaker, it is so much deeper, and the Subwoofer is brilliant, I kept switching from my TV speaker to the Soundbar so I could really hear the difference.The remote works really well, with it you can turn off the LED lights on the Soundbar, which is great as it is in my bedroom, it also has additional buttons for equaliser settings that are very useful, it makes speech much clearer than the TV especially as the speakers on the TV are not facing the front.Another thing that swung it for me is it comes with a 1 year warranty, but it comes with a card to extend it for another year, it says just scan the QR code, but for some reason it didn’t work for me, maybe because the card is red and the QR code is white? But if it can be extended that would be a bonus.Also, I had to contact their customer service department for some advice, and they were absolutely brilliant.I could go through everything that’s in the listing description but I’m sure you have already read it before reading my review, so I won’t repeat it, you can see the unboxing in my video, this is just my personal experience with it.At the time of ordering the price was £79.99, which I think is a great price., and I would definitely recommend it this Soundbar!I always like to show pages from User Manuals if there is one, so you know exactly what a product can do, you can just pause a frame in my video to read them and zoom in if you need to.I hope you have found this review and video helpful.

Ultimamente ho avuto modo di provare approfonditamente queste Barre Audio per TV con Subwoofer e devo ammettere che sono piacevolmente sorpreso e mi piace molto.Partiamo col dire che da un punto di vista estetico questo set di sound bar e Subwoofer è davvero molto bello, con uno stile minimale e curato in ogni dettaglio e con materiali che riescono a conferire robustezza al tempo stesso leggerezza tali da rendere questo set facile da spostare in base alle esigenze. i materiali sono decisamente di buona qualità molto piacevoli al tatto e conferiscono un aspetto Premium al tutto rendendo questo set ideale per qualsiasi tipologia di ambiente più classico o più moderno.Da un punto di vista funzionale questo set mi ha veramente sorpreso per diversi motivi innanzitutto nell’utilizzo quotidiano la qualità del suono risulta essere assolutamente ottima con un’amplificazione tale da rendere l’esperienza di suono coinvolgente e unica. mi piace il fatto che confezione oltre alle sound bar e al Subwoofer sia compreso tutto il necessario per il cablaggio, l’installazione ed il funzionamento.Questo set è estremamente facile da montare è uno degli aspetti che mi è piaciuto di più è la sua modulabilità infatti le barre audio possono essere sia unite in un corpo sia staccate e utilizzate verticalmente grazie agli appositi supporti e questo consente di applicare queste barre anche da dove non c’è abbastanza spazio disponibile per intera barra in orizzontale.Per quanto riguarda infine il rapporto qualità prezzo a mio avviso questo è ottimale considerando la qualità del suono e la qualità costruttiva del set.

Si tratta di un buon impianto per TV dal bel design della Ultimea, composto da Soundbar componibile e cassa subwoofer, dotato di un equipaggiamento di ottima fattura in grado di offrire un suono nitido e chiaro con bassi netti ed effetto surround di grande efficacia. E’ un sistema adatto per ambienti spaziosi, e possibilmente collegato ad uno schermo di notevoli dimensioni permette di ottenere un risultato sorprendente di alta qualità. Inoltre le svariate modalità di collegamento sono molto apprezzabili, con connessioni HDMI, RCA, ARC e soprattutto Bluethooth che rendono il sistema davvero completo.Il confezionamento è veramente curato in modo che tutte le parti da comporre siano preservate da eventuali urti o da graffi, rendendolo sicuro nel trasporto e garantendo l’integrità del prodotto, sembra realmente di avere tra le mani un prodotto di alta fascia di prezzo e comprende oltre alla classica scatola, una cassa Subwoofer, due barre Soundbar componibili, due basi per le barre, un telecomando, un adattatore di alimentazione, un Set di cavi completo per le varie connessioni all’interno di svariati sacchetti cellofanati, un kit per il montaggio a muro con staffa e il Manuale d’istruzioni multilingue comprensivo della lingua italiana.L’installazione e la configurazione del sistema e le varie possibilità di connessione come Bluethooth è abbastanza semplice e intuitiva, in ogni caso supportata bene dalle chiare istruzioni, è conveniente assemblare e adattare il sistema in funzione dell’ambiente in cui si pone, personalmente le sto utilizzando con le due casse laterali collocate sulle apposite basi poste ai lati della TV e lateralmente la cassa per i bassi, ma è possibile comporlo in diversi modi in funzione delle proprie esigenze estetiche o funzionali. Ritengo interessante anche il posizionamento orizzontale alla base dello schermo dopo averlo agganciato e reso come unico pezzo. Importante è cercare di posizionarli e indirizzarli verso il punto di ascolto per una migliore diffusione del suono.Ci si può sbizzarrire nella ricerca della migliore soluzione di ascolto, la qualità dell’audio è eccellente, ho provato fin dalla prima connessione su canali TV e sono rimasto completamente soddisfatto, dopo avere effettuato qualche regolazione attraverso il comodo telecomando per rendere l’audio più nitido possibile mi ha sorpreso positivamente regalandomi uno spettacolo da cinema.Riepilogando si tratta di un buon equipaggiamento con configurazione semplice, suono di grande effetto, pulito, netti i bassi ed effetto surround apprezzabile, ho particolarmente gradito il collegamento Bluethooth per riprodurre musica direttamente dalla Soundbar in modalità Wireless.In conclusione, questo impianto soundbar dal bel Design moderno lo ritengo molto valido, pertanto lo promuovo con un buon giudizio, per le ottime caratteristiche complessive che confermano la bontà funzionale e pratica del prodotto, adatto anche come gradito regalo, buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, pertanto se ne suggerisce l’acquisto.Inserisco foto e video e ringrazio per la lettura.
