Went from 80% to 50% within a few days.
Working great now for over a month. I’m using this for my basement to help with humidity which was over 75% before I installed it. Now it’s at 51%, keeps the humidity level perfect, the air much cleaner and doesn’t have the mold smell that we had. Great value for the money, build quality is good, easy to move around, has a relatively short drain tube but is fine for my application. It’s quiet but the ease of use was why I only gave 4 stars, instructions are not clear on how to setup for different features. Settled on the first setting for humidity and set the level to 50. I like the display on the front to show the current humidity, which you can see from across the room.

I recently purchased this dehumidifier to replace an old unit that finally gave outâand Iâm so glad I did. The difference in performance is like night and day. I use it primarily in the basement, which has always been prone to dampness and musty odors, especially in humid weather.Right out of the box, this unit was easy to set up and got to work quickly. Within hours, the basement felt significantly drier and fresher. Itâs much quieter than my old model, and more efficient tooâIâm emptying the tank less often, and it still manages to pull an impressive amount of moisture from the air.The modern features like auto shut-off, humidity control, and the option for continuous drainage make it super convenient. Best machine for the price.
Great dehumidifier. Everything works as it should. My basement is very damp in the summer so this dehumidifier has been running nonstop for 5 weeks & everything is still working properly.

Okay unit, somewhat okay price.
Okay unit for the price, large capacity tank. This is my 3rd dehumidifier purchase, the dehumidifier seems to work okay, it’s quieter than my other one but doesn’t seem to collect as much. I think it might work a little better when it gets hotter out, the defrost setting has kicked on sometimes even though it’s around 68 degrees where it’s running. I like that it has a digital display on the top and front and led indicator for humidity range. The child lock is a nice touch, my youngest hasn’t figured out holding that button yet to unlock it. It says it’s rated for 5000sq feet but it won’t hit 30-35% humidity in a space that’s about 800sq feet, usually gets to 40-45% so that’s what I keep it set for. I don’t know if the ionizing function is always on or not, there’s no actual setting for it that I see on the unit.Update: removed a star, now that it’s getting more humid out the unit can’t keep up, won’t drop below 45 on strong dessicant mode. There’s absolutely no way this unit is rated for 5000sq feet and 80 pints, it can’t keep up in 800 sq feet with some doors open or 600sq feet with doors closed. My other unit is 3 years old and drinks it up down to 30-35 all day long and it’s rated for less. 3 stars because it still works and collects water but I probably wouldn’t buy it again. I’m glad I bought a warranty for it if it gets worse.

Brought the humidity down from 60+% to around 40%. Very quite. With the large tank, only have to empty 1 or 2 times a day, unlike my other smaller tank dehumidifier which requires emptying 3 – 5 times a day. Unfortunately the dehumidifier is in a location where I cannot hook up hose.

Do not buy, does not remove much humidity from my basement.
Does not remove even half of the humidity from the basement that is claims it can in a day. My basement is much smaller sized than this claims to be able to handle. I have a second dehumidifier going down there that removes twice as much water as this one does in the same amount of time. I would have returned it but destroyed the box trying to get it out. Save your money, this one is a complete waste of it and buy some other kind of dehumidifier. This one is awful. The only positive I can say is that it is very quiet.
