This Deep Switch Box is a compact and durable solution for mounting compatible switches to power tools or other electrical devices. The gang box is made from heavy-duty plastic for long-lasting durability. It features two threaded cable glands to protect wires from damage. The box also comes with two cross recessed tapping screws and nylon spacers for easy installation.

Works exactly like it should
Easy to install, works exactly as expected. Only issue is my threaded inserts for sealing the wire didnât fit it. No big deal, Iâll buy newâ¦. Yeah, no such luck, and ended up not using anything.

Honest opinion
Very tight box by the time you get your switched wired up it’s hard to get everything positioned where your wires aren’t cramped up. Overall it looks nice but not real impressed with the size or quality for the price.

Doesn’t quite fit out of the box
I bought this to use with Powertec 71007 Paddle switch. The issue is when you remove the screws on the paddle switch in order to place the switch in the box, placing the switcch between the cover (paddle housing) and the box, and put the screws back in that are supposed to hold the “paddle switch cover” to the box. That is should clamp the switch mechanism between the cover and the box. It does not. The switch mechanism rattles around loose and the switch won’t function. SO, now I will have to figure out some spacers to put between the switch mechanism and the lugs in the box so the switch won’t be loose (raising the switch toward the cover). If the manufacturer figured out that spacing and included the necessary spacers, it would be awesome. The manufacturer does state these 2 items ( the Paddle switch and box) are compatible. They almost are……

I liked that this switch was easily available. With minor changes for attaching the switch box to my machine, everything went very well. I am using this switch for my GENERAL table saw which is only 25 years old now.
