Amazing machine, saves your arms and back not to mention time and money!!
This thing is a beast!! I was on the fence about ordering this because I have a fairly new weed wacker. But we have a large piece of property and about 3 acres is fenced in. I got so tired of weed walking the perimeter under the fence, my arms were shot afterwards so I didnt do it every time I cut the grass and of course it always looks neater to trim and cut the grass on the same day. So I figured why not give this a try. I love it, it saves my arms and man this thing will cut through briars and brush like butter. I can do my entire perimeter in half the time and im not wiped out or covered in grass clippings when I’m done. And the string is thick and strong and a breeze to change. I’ve litteraly trimmed with it around my entire fence line 3 times so far and the string it came with is still in use and I’m still on my first tank of gas. No doubt I would have had to re string my weed wacker and I’d go thru a tank of 2 cycle every time I’d do my perimeter. I have absolutely no regrets what so ever. I love this thing, it works flawlessly, it’s quieter, it’s powerful, great on gas and you’ll save money and aggravation by not having to re string a weed wacker. I’m so glad I got this thing, perfect for my property.

Excellent quality, just as I expected, Fantastic price on Prime day
This is an excellent String Trimmer for the money on the Prime day deal price. String trimmers are rarer and harder to find than normal weed whackers. I received the box in good condition, the packaging was all cardboard but all there and the unit was in great shape. I only had to add two screw handles to the handlebar assembly, add the oil, remove plastic protection, fill with fuel, and the unit started immediately (pressed 3 times on the primer bulb per directions, then first pull started it).What I was amazed most by was that the engine is actually pretty quiet and runs very clean. I didn’t smell any fuel or exhaust smell even after 15-20 minutes of operation. Very surprising because nearly every gas engine implement I have includes some sort of a smell from exhaust.Over 20 -25 minutes of tall thick weedwhacking using this unit I found it to be fast and helpful. The engine does bog down slightly in the thickest of tangled weeds, but I expected that considering there are other models from other manufacturers with larger engines. This is perfect for my needs keeping a dried lake shore clear until our lake is restored.Amazingly, the orange .155 whacker lines already on the unit didn’t even get damaged or cut during my usage of this unit the first time and I did end up accidentally hitting some thicker sticks and stalks sticking up from the ground. I fully expected they would have worn some but they hadn’t!

Cold natured.
It is hard to keep running at startup. I have looked but can’t find a choke. Once warmed up it performs great. If there is a choke could someone tell me where it is? That would be very helpful.

The Husqvarna we had for many years died and so we tried this brand. Easy to use, does a fabulous job. Worth the money. My husband appreciates the metal plate underneath.

CHEAP & INSTANTLY BROKE –
BROKE SECOND TIME USING IT. String ran out in 20 minutes. Went to use it again. Worked for 4 minutes and I let go of the engagement handles to get something out of the way. Never spun the string again. Engine starts and runs. It just doesn’t engage and turn the head. TIRED of CRAPPY STRINGERS – which is why I bought this one. ABSOLUTE. UTTER. WORTHLESS. HEADACHES.

Great weed eater that when you have a Big job
Got this weed eater to cut our blackberry bushes. Boy it has done the job great and no getting pricked by the bushes. We also used for ivy that was growing out of control. Did a great job too. One thing is be careful when around any gravel or rocks. It really can toss a rock and it did by shattered a sliding glass window. That was our error tho.

Pretty amazing, cleans up property fast. Does not work for burdock 2″ but does work well for all else! Ive only run about 5 tanks of gas though it but seems solid. Air filter is 491588S. The one it came with didnt last long, it swelled and didnt fit in holder. If you find after a few tanks of gas it starts hard, just pop air filter off and tap it clean. Starts first pull normally and is strong. The governor is awesome it maintains rpm tight and quick like a diesel tractor. Parts list attached
