Good square ferrule crimper
I alread had a six sided one and wanted to pick up a square one after reading that it is better for some types of terminals. This crimper creates a great square crimp on wire ferrule. It is super easy to use and the ratcheting mechanism ensures that the crimp is balanced and tight.

Great Product for Building Terminals when Compressions Fitting Fail
Over the past couple of months I’ve been running into issues with some of the wires that we had laid down to replace terminals that needed to be secured, and one of the issues that came up was the fact that harsh word terminals just simply were losing cohesion and creating a hazard when mounting new electrical boxes. The reason that I’m using these is because of the fact that we were using stranded wiring as opposed to core because that was what was in our walls when we got here.When I took a look in the balls I found out that someone put compression terminals that were connected to the electrical junctions, and it’s amazing that we didn’t have a fire. In swapping out the ends with 14 gauge stranded wiring, we know that we needed to have a better crimp than what was provided and we needed the right tools to do it. These definitely worked well and are sitting at my desk right now looking for the next project to do.The only down side was the slow shipping, but still 8 days was not that bad.

These are ferrule end-sleeve terminals. The crimper makes a 6-sided crimp that is very secure and solid. It is especially true of crimped terminals that you can do it right, or you can do it twice.
