Small but powerful.
Small but powerfull. I already have a different brand as well as a Mac mini. Helps to keep my desktop organized as well as plenty of ram and hard disk space. Both are paired with a 32 inch 4K monitor and to switch from Mac to pc only requires switching the input on the monitor to be able to work both ways,. Highly recommend.

Little big box! Very fast!
This little PC is packed with power. I was super impressed when I first turned it on how quick everything was and how efficient I can play most games on it, although the settings can’t go very high because technically there isn’t a gaming video card inside. It’s just a normal video card. I hope in the future the designer figures out a way to put a cool gaming card inside this little magic box..

A heck of a deal
I was surprisingly pleased. I didn’t expect much for the price, but this little computer far exceeded my expectations.

Fan sound is low, but Windows Home does not support remote connection!
It is a very good product. The best thing I like is the fan sound is comparatively low. Most of the PC’s fans are just like crazy when Windows work on some crazy stuff ( that is also why I don’t like windows).But the thing I don’t like is: it is using Windows Home edition. I found it didn’t support remote connection! So I have no way to connect to it from my Mac, I have to switch my monitor between the two systems, I don’t like that

I am currently already using a Mini “Gaming” PC, which is fine for replacing a modern laptop and play fine most of the games from 5 years ago or more and is quite silent and very handy as it is easy to transport but works like a desktop pc at home (i.e. with a big screen and without being too encombrant).This one is perfect if you want a home lab, a server or a media center. It is quite cheap but still powerful enough, and small enough to be attached behind a screen (using an included Vesa support) and very silent.One funny thing is that they recommend doing the setup without connecting to the internet (see the warning on the picture, the Ethernet port is also blocked with a sticker), and as I wanted to have an updated Windows, I connected to our Wifi. And I understand the advice, it was painfully slow and I believe Windows 11 is getting worse and worse, also with all the Microsoft is trying to sell. Still, once the setup finished, it worked fine and I got no issue with anything.And, as a stress-test but also out of curiosity, I tried gaming on it, with older but good games. You can check the video with all of them. Surprisingly it worked quite fine but also shows that you shouldn’t buy that for gaming except if you know what you get. Borderland 1 worked ok with all on low (in FullHD, like all others aside the 2D game), but was not super fluid either. Just Cause 2 worked very well, this game is a marvel of optimization. I haven’t tried Just Cause 3 but I don’t think it will work well (or maybe not at all). Skyrim SE worked ok and decided to be on Ultra setting, so would probably be quite fluid with lower settings. And finally Noita, a 2D game with a lot of physics, worked perfectly fine.The great thing with all that is that it stayed nearly fully silent for all that. At the end of the video I filmed it while it was running Skyrim in Ultra. So if you intend to play only old games (and maybe emulations, it should be able to emulate up to PS2 and Gamecube), it could be a good solution, especially as you can easily hide it aside a TV and it is low power (see the picture of the power supply, 30W that looks like an smartphone power supply).Then, and because of the size, the connectivity is a bit limited: 4 USB A (only 2 USB 3, the 2 others are USB 2), 1 HDMI, 1 Display port, 1 RJ45, 1 audio jack (probably combined mic+headphone) and that’s all. I won’t complain for the price, but 2 extra USB C (with video out) would have been great and maybe an extra RJ45, which can be used for some lab and server usage.There are some unknown in my review, and that’s because the included manual is really minimal (also in picture). It is still fine as it is a very simple PC, but a bit more explanation would be great. One good example is that it seems that we can update the RAM and SSD (from the description), but the manual nor the box do not say anything about that. After a google and seeing a teardown of it, I assumed that the screw would be below the sticked caoutchouc “feet”. I carefully lifted one and it’s indeed there. That is honestly another con, and it would be great to do an update where the feet are not above the screws. And it would be great if we didn’t have to guess it.Despite the drawbacks I am still very happy with it. Then if you buy it, be careful on the model (it seems to exist with N95 like this one, N100 (less powerful) and N150 (more powerful, so for Intel 100<95<150...) and on how much memory you want. The SSD can be replaced cheaply, but the RAM is a laptop DDR4, so more expensive than a normal DDR4, so it could be worth it to buy directly with the good amount. For normal server or lab usage, 8gb seems to be alright.

Mein alter Büro-Rechner ist in die Jahre gekommen und war zudem in seinem BigTower-Gehäuse etwas überdimensioniert. Deshalb war ich auf der Suche nach einem platzsparenden Nachfolger. Mit Mini-PCs habe ich schon Erfahrung, so hat mein Sohn zu Weihnachten ein solches Ding bekommen und ist sehr zufrieden damit.Für mich muss ein PC die klassischen Büro-Tätigkeiten beherrschen, also Windows, Office-Anwendungen, ein NetMeeting (Videokonferenz), Internet und vielleicht ab und zu mal einen Film schauen. Spielen ist eher nicht mein Ding.Auf eine Empfehlung hin habe ich dann den Mini V1 von ACEMAGIC mit 8GB DDR4 Arbeitsspeicher (RAM) und einer 256GB M.2 SSD Festplatte bestellt. Um ehrlich zu sein, habe ich mich vorsorglich auf eine Rücksendung eingestellt, denn der Intel-Prozesser Alder Lake N95 war mir bis dato nicht geläufig und ich hatte die Befürchtung, dass die Leistung von vier Kernen für meine Ansprüche nicht ausreicht, zumal ich zuvor einen AMD Ryzen 5 verwendet habe.Amazon hat den Mini PC innerhalb eines Tages geliefert.Nach dem Auspacken war ich erst einmal überrascht, wie klein das Teil mit 10 cm x 10 cm doch ist. Der Mini-PC von meinem Sohn ist deutlich größer (was aber der besseren Grafikleistung geschuldet sein dürfte). Neben dem PC ist ein Steckernetzteil (12V) dabei, ein kleines HDMI-Kabel für den Anschluss an den Monitor und eine einfache VESA-Halterung nebst passender Schrauben, um das Ding an der Rückseite eines entsprechend geeigneten Monitors zu fixieren.Die Anschlüsse sind übersichtlich und selbsterklärend. Vorne befinden sich neben dem Ein- und Ausschalttaster noch zwei USB-Buchsen (USB 3.2) und eine 3,5mm-Klinkenbuchse für den Anschluss eines Kopfhörers. Auf der Rückseite können LAN (Netzwerk 1GB), HDMI, DisplayPort (DP 1.4) und nochmals zweimal USB 2.0 eingestöpselt werden. USB C ist leider nicht verbaut, aber es gibt ja auch die Möglichkeit, den Rechner drahtlos via WiFi 5 oder Bluetooth (BT 4.2) zu verbinden.Nach dem Einschalten der nächste Aha-Effekt: war ich es bislang gewohnt, dass mich die Soundkulisse diverser Lüfter „berauschen“, höre ich beim Vista einfach – nichts! Der Betrieb ist vollkommen geräuschlos. Ich bin mir nicht mal sicher, ob darin Lüfter verbaut sind oder die Wärme (das Ding wird im Betrieb handwarm) anderweitig abgeleitet wird.Windows 11 Professional war bereits vorinstalliert. Das erste Setup war nach ca. 25 Minuten erledigt. Ein erster Test ergab ein sauberes Bild (via YouTube konnte auch Inhalt in 4K (bei 60 Herz) ruckelfrei wiedergegeben werden. Die integrierte INTEL UHD Grafikeinheit erledigt ihre Aufgaben ohne Murren. Das System startet sehr schnell und alle typischen Büroprogramme laufen ohne Aussetzer oder Fehler.Nicht klar war mir, wie das Gehäuse geöffnet werden kann, um ggf. mehr Speicher einzubauen. Laut Beschreibung sollte das möglich sein, aber es ist nirgends beschrieben, wie dafür vorzugehen ist. Ich vermute Gehäuseschrauben unter den Gummifüßen, aber ich wollte das Risiko nicht eingehen, zumal mir der verbaute RAM dicke ausreicht. Gespeichert wird ohnehin fast alles auf einem NAS von Synology oder in der Cloud.Mein Fazit: der ideale platz- und stromsparende Mini-PC für das Büro und alltägliche Aufgaben – evtl. auch als kleiner Server. Gewünscht hätte ich mir noch einen USB-C Anschluss und vielleicht eine LAN-Buchse mit 2.5 Gbit/s. Aber das wusste ich vorher und ist – in Anbetracht des günstigen Preises Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Den meisten Anwender:Innen dürfte der Kraftzwerg mehr als ausreichen. Und auch ich werde den Mini V1 nun behalten und meinen alten PC in den Ruhestand schicken.
