Heavy, Strong, Well Made, Very Good Price
My review is for the #14 x 8″ screws. I needed these to anchor top boards to fence posts that had some rot from time and rain, so I needed long ones to dig in deeper for a solid hold. And these fit the bill perfectly. I kind of knew they were good when I opened shipment and lifted the box of these out. They weighed over eight pounds, which means each one weighs about 1.3 ounces.I’m very pleased with the results. Hex heads rather than Phillips meant I didn’t have any of the heads get “chewed out” while using a power tool to install, which is always a pain if it happens. So that’s good too.I’m going to be redoing a deck in the next few weeks, and I have quite a few of these left over I plan to use on some of that work. But for some of that, I’ll need a shorter screw, and those will have to be a flush finish, so I’ll be looking at a different product for that job. But for the fence repair and some of the deck’s structural frame, these are perfect.

First off, they are priced decently. That’s the main attraction right there!They are super aggressive screws with really stout threads, and a sharp point with a cutout which makes them instantly bite into the wood. No aimless spinning necessary.You could literally start them By hand!I’ve been using several of MyWish’s screw products, and I have to say that they make a great product!I’m extremely satisfied!

This pack is a huge bargain. We have been buying screws like these by the piece at the hardware store & don’t get anywhere close to this price. These screws start very easily with a sharp tip & a deep flute on the first 3/4″. I have only put in a few screws so far but I haven’t had any splitting. (I still prefer to put in a pilot hole).My club builds pedestrian bridges on multi-use trails & we use a mixture of lumber & felled logs. We use these long, lag screws to make the connection between the lumber & logs or to anchor the bridges to trees, stumps & ties that we lay.This set came in a plastic box with 100 screws, 10 each in 10 plastic bags. It also came with a magnetic 8mm Socket to drive the screws.
