From the brand

XLUX brand, a company always true to its original aspirations. Rooted in a commitment to quality, our brand story embodies the principle of “you get what you pay for.” We continuously refine products, respect user experience, and take responsibility for the XLUX brand. Actively listening to user feedback, focusing on every detail, we strive to infuse more quality and innovation into the XLUX brand.

Accurate Soil Moisture Detection:The XLUX Soil Moisture Meter can tell you if the soil deep inside your pot or garden is dry, moist or wet; whereas your eyes and fingers can only determine the moisture level of the soil surface.
Easy-to-Read Large Dial: The large dial is easy to read and includes three zones with ten scales, making it very straightforward to understand.
Immediate Moisture Reading: Insert the probe into the soil, and without waiting, the dial will immediately display the moisture level. You can then decide whether your plant needs watering based on the measurement. Do not leave this moisture meter in the soil for more than 5 minutes, as the metal tip will gradually corrode.
Less Damage: A single probe causes less damage to plant roots compared to double or multiple probes, and when you remove the probe after testing, it won’t bring out much soil.
Usage Precautions: Do not use it to test very hard soil. Do not test water or other liquids. After testing, please wipe the probe clean.
Customers say
Customers find the soil moisture meter easy to read and use, and appreciate how it helps prevent overwatering while keeping plants alive and thriving. The functionality and accuracy receive mixed reviews – while some say it works great and is extremely accurate, others report it never works and gives inconsistent readings. Moreover, the quality and value for money are also mixed, with some finding it reliable and worth the money, while others report it breaking after a month and consider it a waste of money.

Works like a charm and saved my plants from overwatering!
I have a growing collection of indoor plantsâprayer plants, a peace lily, a Calathea named Vesperâand I used to rely on guesswork or finger pokes to decide when to water. Not anymore. This meter is simple to useâno batteries, no fuss. Just stick it in the soil, and the needle gives you a clear and accurate moisture reading. What I love most is how it helps me understand the differences between each plantâs needs. My snake plant likes to stay on the dry side, while my parlor palm needs a bit more regular watering. The XLUX helps me keep them all happy without second-guessing.The only heads-up: make sure you clean the probe after each use, and donât leave it in the soil permanently. Just dip it in when you need a check and pull it out when you’re done.Highly recommend if you’re a plant parent trying to avoid root rot disasters or crispy leaves. Itâs now my go-to plant care tool!

This is such a great tool for plants. I love the durability and the ease of use. It doesnât take any batteries either which is a plus!!! Simply place the tool in to the soil and it will read the moisture level. Great for house plants as well so you donât have to worry about over watering and root rot. Itâs a great little functioning tool to use on either indoor or outdoor plants!

Lasted barely 26 months.
It worked well, until it didn’t. Purchased May of 2023, kept it in the house when not using.Last month it stopped working. Almost killed some of my plants.

Has kept my plants from being overwatered
I have been using this water meter for several months now and it has worked really well. I have about 20 different plant varieties, and they all need watered at different times. I would have killed half of my plants by now if I did not have a meter. The back of the box also lists most of the common household plants to inform you when to water, which has been helpful. These are particularly important for Fiddle Leaf Figs or African milk trees – as they both cannot endure too much watering or they will perish.

Easy to use and convenient
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Fantastic meter. Very simple and mechanical, needs no batteries, no fancy electronics that are likely to break. Just shows me if my potatoes and tomatoes need to be watered when I can’t get my finger blindly all the way down into my grow bags. Zero issues, easy to use, and one of the most useful gardening tools I’ve ever bought.

A good basic Hygrometer
As advertised. This is strictly a hygrometer, it does not provide soil PH.

Also absolute Kaufempfehlung für diesen nützlichen Helfer.
