As a dog mom of two very fluffy pups (Australian Shepherd + Golden Retriever = tumbleweeds of fur daily 😅), I’ve tried more deshedding tools than I can count. This one? Total winner.Here’s what I love:✔️ Super easy to use – The ergonomic handle makes it comfortable to hold, even for longer grooming sessions.✔️ Impressively effective – It pulls out the undercoat without damaging the top coat. My dogs actually like it.✔️ Less fur, less vacuuming – After just 10 minutes of brushing, I had enough loose fur to build a whole new dog. 😆Pro Tips for Best Results:🐾 Use it after a bath or when your dog is dry and clean — it glides through the fur better.🐾 Go gently, especially around bony areas like hips and ribs.🐾 Short daily sessions beat one long weekly battle. My pups are less wiggly when I make it a habit.🐾 Toss the fur in the compost or outside — birds love it for nesting!It’s honestly made grooming less of a chore and more of a bonding time. Works great to remove dog hair on short and long hair dogs, BUT there are better options for the money!!
Pros:- Works well and removes a lot of pet hair- Replaceable/removable blade- LightweightCons:- Plastic construction is lightweight, but doesn’t feel as premium or high quality as some competitors- Blade has sharper teeth, which can irritate your dog’s skin- Potentially better options at this price pointPersonal Experience:I left a separate review for the Hair Hero, which is essentially the same product but with complete stainless steel construction and is in my opinion a superior brush (feel free to check out my other reviews). I was on a mission to find the best dog brush. My wife and I have a Rat Terrier (similar to a Jack Russell terrier) and a Yorkie/Miniature Shnauzer mix. We consider ourselves the perfect “testers” for something like this because we have both a short hair and a long hair dog. We love our rat terrier, but he sheds his short little white coat approximately 4 times a year, and our Yorkie mix gets knots in her undercoat constantly. We had only purchased simple silicone dog combs or normal narrow bristled brushes in the past to use on our dogs, and they never worked well. Finally we decided to do some research and try out a few brushes. We tried this brush, the Furminator, the Hair Hero, along with a few of the other competitors (other generic brushes that look identical).After trying them all, we concluded that the Hair Hero was the best. Honestly, many of the brushes are extremely similar and I would not be surprised if many of them come from the exact same manufacturer that just brands them differently at the end of the production process. The majority of the brushes all use a 4 inch brush blade with narrowly spaced teeth to achieve its purposes. However, when all is said and done, the Hair Hero is not only priced better than many of its competitors, its stainless steel construction feels much more durable, high quality, and easy to use than its competitors. Many of the other competitors use variations of plastic and some rubber on the handles (including this one). And even though results may be similar among some of the other models, we felt that the Hair Hero still worked slightly better because its teeth on the brush were slightly more rounded, thus it was less irritating on the skin of our dog.Conclusion:Works well to remove large amounts of dog hair that normal brushes will not be able to. However, there are better options available for the price point that utilize a more solid construction (instead of plastic and rubber), and have slightly more refined edges on the brush teeth to protect against aggravating your dog’s skin.

Ease of use
Great product! Gentle on my Pugs coat, however really gets the hair out! Love the width and how smooth it is on his coat!!! Best de-shedder ever!

AMAZING!! MUST BUY!
I cannot rave about this grooming tool enough. I had gotten a brush for my cat a couple months ago, but she didn’t like it at all, so I was skeptical about buying this for her. But, let me tell you, she LOVES IT. She rubs her face into the bristles, flops on her back so I can brush her belly, and one time she was so relaxed she fell off her cat tree and I had to catch her! Lol. She used to have dandruff as well (I noticed when I would try and brush her with her other brush) and since using this grooming comb, her dandruff is nearly gone! Picture 1 is of her first brushing. Also, I was curious to see if this would work on my area rug too, and it did!!! It got out all of the hair that was embedded into the fabric (picture 2), and now my area rug looks and feels brand new. BUY THIS IMMEDIATELY!!!

Wow wow wow!Works as well as a furminator on my lab/rottie who has a medium coat…took TONS of hair off.Didn’t really do much on my short-haired mastiff cross puppy but he doesn’t shed much so I wasn’t expecting this brush to remove much hair.It worked extremely well on both my cats. One absolutely loves this brush and rolls around so I get brush him all over. The other doesn’t like this brush but that’s not saying much as he doesn’t like any type of brush I’ve tried.Long story short….I have tried multiple types of brushes over the years and I have to say that this is the one of the best hair removal tools I’ve used…works as well as a furminator at less than half the price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Allora, da fare una premessa: cercavo un prodotto differente chiamato Furminator, ma visto il prezzo mi sono “accontentato di questo”. Lo uso regolarmente su un gatto dal pelo lungo e i risultati sono incredibili a dire poco. Dopo averlo spazzolato con la mia vecchia spazzola e non aver preso più pelo con quella ho usato questa… Beh ho riempito una scatola di cartone 40x40x40 col pelo tolto al gatto. La spazzola prende una quantità di pelo imbarazzante perché i denti raccolgono il SOTTOPELO, quello che le altre spazzole non riescono ad acchiappare e raggiungere, e ce n’è una quantità che non avete idea. Vi dico solo che, ha tolto così tanto pelo che ho dovuto passarmela in testa io perché avevo paura che stesse strappando i peli al gatto e invece, non strappa proprio nulla ma raccoglie solo il pelo che rimane intrappolato sulla pelle del gatto. La casa è molto più pulita ora e il gatto sta molto meglio (meno palle di pelo quando si lecca, dato che sono in clima caldo e ha pelo lungo, molto meno accaldato). Consiglio a tutti coloro che hanno gatti e cani a pelo lungo.

I have a furminator but this product is better. Its costs lesser than the furminator. I have 2 cats. One has thin coat and so furminator or any other brush does not suit him because it hurts him. This one is perfect because it is not sharp but does its job well. Very nice product.
