Drill, Insert Through Post, and Secure
Drill holes in all posts, insert the threaded terminal through an end post, and attach washer and nut. Thread bare end through other posts.
Attach Fitting and Tighten Washer Nut
Slide the SwiftCatch fitting onto the cable and into the post, pulling tightly to secure. Tighten the washer nut on the threaded terminal end.
Remove Excess, Repeat and Enjoy
Remove the excess threads and cable on both ends and attach end caps. Repeat for remaining cables until your project is complete. Enjoy the view!

This is a great system
This isn’t the least expensive way to build stainless steel cabling but it certainly is the most reliable and possibly the simplest. There’s lots of drilling holes of 3 different diameters (one for cable only, a larger one for the screw/nut end and an even larger for the swift catch end.) Once those holes are drilled these cables install quickly and easily. Tension the swift catch end with a pair of pliers then move on to the nut/screw end for final tensioning. Cut the cable and screw (I recommend a grinder with a metal cutoff wheel), snap the caps on and you’re done. I have installed about 100 of these in my decking and stairs and they look great.If they lose tension (I have wood posts that can cause this over time) then you can retension them quickly and easily as well.

Great product and easy to install
The kits are well worth your money. These kits are high quality and look great. The instructions are easy to follow for someone who has never installed something like this before. I especially liked the drill bit size details that made thinking through the layout easier. Once the holes are drilled, they are easy to install and have your railing make a statement.I would highly recommend this product. Before purchasing from Amazon, I called the company directly (from the number on their website) and was able to talk to a person that works for VistaView and confirm I was purchasing the correct model number for what I needed. Very impressed with the brand’s customer service.

Decent solution
This is expensive but it works. Hardest part was to assemble the loctited nuts and cutting the excess cable (used a disk cutter). Good customer service, but the best customer service is the one you don’t need. Looks good.

WARNING: If you buy this system make sure you automatically buy the QUICK RELEASE TOOL! it’s $10 and will save you time and money. This system is is amazing- can’t say how easy it is and awesome to look at when it’s all done. One of the parts that you put on it is a part that once it goes on you aren’t getting it off and if you pull your cable too tight you can’t get it loose again, which is why you need the quick release tool but the whole process is super simple and value for look is 10 out of 10.

Extremely easy project looks amazing really opens up the room
Super easy highly recommend the hydraulic crimping tool and the tool that it comes with to screw into the Post gets stripped out real easy. I ended up using a very small adjustable wrench that did the trick it looks amazing pretty easy to install I would recommend sliding 2 decorative sleeves over the cables before you install them one for each side where they screw into the wall and into the post to cover the notch that you turn to screw into the post or whatever it just looks cleaner with a hollowed-out wooden dowel over the screws to give it a finished look rather than the crimped medal fastener

Great for finishing a deck
We used these to add a rail on our back deck. It’s nice to still have a view of the yard. However, since installing in June, I’ve had re-tighten all wires twice. Curious how many times I’ll be able to do that before there are issues.

High quality product
I am a building contractor by trade, but have never installed a cable railing system. Product arrived and all parts were clearly labeled. All went together as described, with no problems. I used 4×4’s for all my posts and pre-drilled all posts with a drill press in my shop. I can’t imagine trying to drill straight holes in all of those posts installed on site. Once again, great product and would use again.
