Great value, bulk quantities, highly recommended

Great Wood Screws, but Not for Drywall
This set comes with 198 screws (though I do wonder why not 200). The screws are well-machined, with smooth head surfaces and deep, clean Phillips slots. I havenât come across any defective pieces.When ordering, I noticed the listing mentioning these as “for Drywallï¼Sheetrock” screws. That is misleading, as these are not proper drywall screws. The difference is easy to spot:* The tips are not as sharp or pointy as drywall screws, which would make driving into drywall difficult.* The heads are narrower compared to the thread diameter, meaning they would likely slip through the drywall hole instead of holding securely.As wood screws, however, theyâre excellent. The zinc coating should provide good corrosion resistance and durability. Iâll be using these for small woodworking projects, such as building boxes for my beehives, and theyâre a solid choice for that purpose.The screws come in a clear plastic storage box, which is a nice touch. I would have given this set five stars if not for the misleading description. To avoid disappointing buyers, I strongly recommend removing “drywall and sheetrock” from the product listing. That way, customers can make an informed decision and the product wonât risk poor ratings due to mismatched expectations.

Just screw it…
I’m always a little extra cautious when it comes to small pieces of hardware sold on Amazon, but everything in the description seems to accurately reflect this product, including screw dimensions. Honestly, they rival high-end competitors in both performance & design features… For instance, their threads are relatively deep & tightly wound to maximize hold for a given length, although I wish thread pitch was listed somewhere in their specs. Also, the screw heads are also nearly impossible to strip with proper technique, so they’ve managed to convince me that they didn’t skimp on the construction materials either… Oh, and in case you were wondering, they’re definitely self-tapping. The tip actually caught me off guard a little bit because I probably would’ve broke the skin on my finger if I applied any more pressure when I prodded it for the first time. Regardless, this feature makes them all the more convenient & easy to use.For general applications, the 1-1/4″ screws are an optimal size for versatility… They’re long enough to provide a reliable hold but still functionally practical for most scenarios. The 1/4″ flat head is sufficiently discreet for a clean aesthetic, and there’s noticeable depth in its drive (AKA markings). Plus, the zinc coating means these bad boys can be used outdoors.Overall, these screws have turned out to be super handy around the house, and I’ve found myself reaching for them on a regular basis for a variety of projects. Under my circumstances, the provided case is a nice little bonus for long-term storage, though I admit that its clasp is likely too flimsy to lug around in a toolbag. Overall, this product is reasonably priced and performs exactly how it should. Highly recommend!

Cheap screws, low head depth. I’ve sheared of quite a few heads trying to tighten them. Expect to pre-drill. I fell they are overpriced. Handy to have laying around I guess. I’ll probably use the rest for hanging stuff up in drywall with anchors.

I go through woodscrews like crazy, so having a bulk pack like this is great. They’re not the greatest screws in the world, but they’re durable and effective. Most screws these days seem to be a bit less tough than they used to be, anyway. These are certainly a pretty big bang for your buck, though, and I highly recommend them.
