Good hold
Whenever I’m testing out screws, one of the tests involves removal. You do want a screw removable, at the same time, you want some assurance that it isn’t going to remove itself. I’ll discuss this a bit further in the “what I like” section.What I like:* Drove in easily. I was using 2×4 pine into a 2×6 beam. These didn’t give me any fight going in.* They give some resistance being removed. When you back one out, you can feel the bite. It does remove without damage.* Self-tapping. For some wood, I would still recommend a pilot hole, but for a lot of decking type work, especially mid-board, you should be good just driving it in.* T30 Star Drive. I prefer this when doing a lot of decking screws. A more positive grab on the bit and less likely to damage the head when you’re getting tired. (Does include a bit if you don’t have one)What could use improvement:* Can’t really think of anything.Now, there is the question of how long the color will last as well as the screw itself. Of course, it’s hard for me to answer now. Based on the build quality, I do have hopes. They work well, and, at least at the time of this review were at a decent price.

Strong torx screws with a protective finish perfect for 2x material work
The 100 pack of T30 torx drive pan head screws are great for securing 2×4’s. They come with a torx 30 bit. You want torx drive for these so you can drive without predrilling and they don’t cam out or strip on you like a phillips would. They are strong enough to be driven all the way into a 4×4 without pre-drilling and without snapping the head off once it bottoms out. The pan head top is low profile enough that you can get buy without countersinking first for most projects, unlike the similar bolt with a hex head design. It is also wide enough to get a good pull on the surface of the wood without sinking in or mushrooming into the hole.The finish is thin, but uniform on all the screws in my box. I wouldn’t use these in a salt water environment, but for most of the rest of us I think whatever you build with them will probably outlast the wood you build it with. Personally, mine are going to secure 2×6 boards in a wooden walkway (2 per board) and they work great for this. I drive them all the way flush with my impact and move on to the next board. It’s elevated and I sometimes need access to the space underneath, so screws like this are ideal compared to the nails for that reason.

Lots of nice deck screws
So these took longer than expected to arrive & unfortunately I had to use some other deck screws due to time. Anyway, you get a ton of these for the money & theyâve got a nice weight to them. As a side note I left a few outside in the snow & did not notice any rust in that short time frame. They also give you a drill bit for these incase you donât have a matching one in your set. I did insert the drill bit into my drill & screwed one of these into a random piece of wood & it was easy enough to test it out. Iâd have to guess this is a good value for the money & they did function as expected while I tested them out but I canât speak to the longevity/durability for reasons stated above.

High quality wood screws
High quality deck/wood screws. The box comes with the drill bit needed for installation in case you don’t already have one on hand which is great. The screws have a coating on them to retard rust. The screw point is very sharp making them easy to drive into wood. The price point of $22.99 for 100 high quality screws and the drill bit is already a great value, but the current avaliable coupon taking the price down to $18.39 makes them an absolute steal.

High-Quality Structural Screws â Comparable to Name Brands
These are great deck screws! I have already used them for several structural mounting tasks, including cabinet brackets and TV mount installations, and they performed perfectly.They look and function just like the similar style structural screws you find at big-box stores from the well-known brands. The star drive is reliable, and they feel very heavy-duty for landscaping and framing projects. Definitely a solid value for the price.

Fast and Furious
I used these screws this week in building an interior dividing wall. They installed easily in softwood construction lumber without needing pre-drilling. There were zero broken screws in the entire project.We did drill pilot holes near ends in a couple places to avoid splitting just to be on the safe side. In any event, there were no splits whichever way we went. They installed smoothly and quickly.

Durable and grab well.
These are excellent, sturdy deck screws. Their design allows them to bite into the wood and grab, instead of stripping out. Large t30 bit makes these screws easy to use without breaking a bit or damaging the head. The head of these screws are too big to hide after installation, they will have to be incorporated into your design. Function as designed. Corrosion resistant material.
