Stable and Sturdy
I live in a house that is over 100 years old and has very small almost non existant closets. I bought this for my very small BR because I was tired of my clothing being so crammed into the closet that I could barely find things. I removed my dresser and mirror as well as a small lingerie dresser I had to fit this in. I had to rearrange entire room to fit it. But it actually opened up room in the Bedroom once done. I was amazed at the sturdiness as I have looked at many similar that were not sturdy at all. It went together very easily, though I do have a lot of experience putting stuff together, less than 30 min to be done putting it together and start putting clothing on it. I used fabric crates that I had to put on each shelf to seperate clothing. The plastic shelf liners are nice, but had to remove for the crates as each time you pull one out and put it back, it messed up the liner. This fit all of my husbands clothes except for his good suit and most of my clothes except for dresses and those things went in our 26 inch wide closet. My folded shirts and sweat shirt are in the remaining chest of drawers, which was overstuffed and now has plenty of room. It was stable enough that I did not feel I needed to use the wall mounting hardware. I would use it if you have toddlers though. It also arrived 2 days before expected which made me very happy. I was able to carry it in the house by myself, so not too heavy, well marked parts. I got the bronze one, was a little disappointed that the hanging rods were chrome though. Also their is not enough room to space the rods to avoid longer shirts and stuff overlapping, but I had that in my other cloest too. If you need extra closet space, I would highly recommend this product, would be great to add to a walk in closet too, without the very high cost of custom closet products. I will likely end up buying another for the laundry room…plenty of hanging space and plenty of storage for things like soap, extra supplies, your iron, etc. You can not go wrong with this. Bonus, no dresser drawers for my husband to leave hanging open…one of his worst habits!

Pros and cons
Tips: 1. Use the video in the listing to see how to assemble. 2. Have a piece of clothing on a hanger handy when it comes time to decide where you’ll place the bars you’ll hang the clothes on. This helps determine how high/low to place them. 3. Place the top hanging bar as high as you can, while allowing just enough room to easily get your hangers on it (see cons below for my reason behind this tip). 4. The million little round caps don’t serve a purpose for assembly… they’re just for packaging, so don’t stress about where they’re supposed to fit into the assembled product.Pros: 1. Quality product. 2. It looks great when assembled- has a cool industrial look that I really like. 3. Not difficult to assemble, especially with the video. The first half took some time because I was being cautious, but once I knew what I was doing, the second half was a breeze. 4. Love the shelves. 5. Love that you can expand the hanging bars.Cons: 1. The paper instructions aren’t great, but this isn’t a major con since there’s a video. 2. It’s too short for my needs. I bought it for my boyfriend, who has a ton of shirts to hang. I have both racks as high as I can without the clothes on each rack completely interfering with each other, and the shirts on the bottom rack touch the ground. He’s not a particularly big guy- wears size L shirts. This product would be perfect if it was about two inches taller. Not a problem depending on your needs, and I definitely recommend it overall, but the length of the clothes you plan to hang is something to be aware of prior to purchasing.

Literally took me about 40 minuites to assemble.Points of note:–the instructions are useless. However, common sense works fine.-The poles we got had the wrong ends in and this confused us at the end for ages. All the poles are exactly the same. If you get to the end and you’re left with one or two wrong ends for the top of the shelf poles; they just come off. Problem solved.-theres a weird amount of spares. We had them too.-when fully extended we found it helpful to drill two screws into the wall behind the wardrobe to kind of… hook the floating edge of the shelf on (when it’s made and assembled this will make sense) the shelf otself is actually really sturdy. Weve got 3 bedding boxes on top of ours so it holds a fair amount of weight.-ignore the instructions that say no tools. You 100% need two flatheads or butter knives to screw some of the bits together (one to hold one side secure, one to screw)-Dont worry about the rail weight. No joke, I own about 50 addidas hoodies and the rail is good 🤣The final result is actually really nice 😅 we werent expecting much but some fairy lights, fake ivy and some pretty storage boxes up the sides really do make it alot more than basic.If you’re looking for an alcove filler, or a cheap wardrobe that far surpasses those god awful canvas wood monstrosities, this is the one. Quick to put up, I imagine it will be quick and simple to take down. The space it fits is crazy… me and my bf share it. I’d recommend 100%. Its abit of a pain to move around so make it where you want it to be but other than that we love ours!
