Excellent Dehumidifier for Large Spaces!

Big dehumidifier that takes the moisture out of the air so it feels cooler without cranking the air
I have a number of dehumidifiers and this one is great. Itâs large enough I donât have to empty it as often as the others I have. Shuts off when full and lets me know when it needs emptied. It is very sturdy, my cats jump on it all the time and it doesnât bother it. It is quiet and you can set the humidity level when you want to it to run or not run. Does a great job. It really helps take the stickiness out of the air and helps the house feel cooler without cranking up the air, which I like because I donât like being cold. Highly recommend.

Works well!
Works very well! Wasnât plugged in a few hours and had water collected. My only issue with the product is if you canât have it draining with the hose and you have to use the reservoir it fills up quickly and it fills up to the brim. Spilling a little water every time you take the tank out because itâs that full. Usually fills with water in about 6-8 hours. We empty it before bed at night and by morning itâs full. Quiet. Easy to use. Tank is easy to empty and lightweight. Easy to clean. Small so it doesnât take up a lot of room. I was happy the bedroom didnât feel damp anymore. The light on it can be annoying though. I havenât found where to turn it off. The controls donât make a lot of sense even with the book since there are no example photos. I just plugged it in and itâs working.Â

Durable and Compact Dehumidifier
This Cagstul Dehumidifier is a total lifesaver. I have been using it in my basement for the past 2 weeks now and let me tell you âitâs been nothing short of amazingâ. I store a lot of decor pieces and florals in my basement and so it would always feel damp and smell musty but after running this dehumidifier for a day it made a huge difference in air quality and helped reduce that musty smell. It covers up to 2500 Sq Ft, which is just perfect for my large basement. I find it to be very powerful, as it actually pulls a surprisingly amount of moisture out of the air. Love the fact that they included a drainage hose making it super convenient for me, so no more emptying water buckets every day, I just leave the hose connected and let it drain on its own. It is compact, durable, convenient, easy to use, quiet but yet very effective and has 3 different modes: continuous, sleep and auto mode, as well as they are great for adjusting to different humidity levels. I am so impressed by its ease of setup, sleek craftsmanship and modern design. The coolest part is that it has color changing features depending on the percentage of humidity in the air. Overall functionality is superb and is one of my greatest investment, so I highly recommend it for anyone needing serious moisture control!!!

Big Power in Small Package
My old de-humidifier died after 10 years of constant service in my basement. I was hesitant to get a smaller model, but this little guy is pulling more water than my old one ever did. I use the basic set and constant power mode, but the additional features are nice and the controls are well laid out and easy to use. I’m using the drain tube and while it looks small in diameter, it is working great. I was also very happy with how quiet this is. Even though I have it on high fan speed mode, it is a fraction of the sound of my old unit. I have not had it long enough to need to clean it, but I did check out how the filter connects and it looks like that will be an easy job as well.

Wasn’t suitable for me, but great customer service
UPDATE: I have bumped up from 2 to 3 stars based on the quality and thoroughness of the customer service team. They really went above and beyond to make my experience positive. I wish I could give them 5 stars, but I want to make sure other customers understand the limitations of the unit.–I have mixed feelings about this dehumidifier. I bought this for my 800 sq ft basement, and I was hoping for better performance. TLDR: I’m going to be looking for a different dehumidifier that can actually get the job done as this one can’t get the humidity level down to what I’m looking for.PROS:-Drainage hose: I like that this connects into the machine itself vs. out from the bucket. I’ve read a lot of reviews on other dehumidifiers where the pump & hose are connected to the water bucket and end up leaving a lot of water in the bucket until it fills to the level where the pump activates, which may increase the chance of mold. With this unit, I believe that water bypasses the bucket and goes straight through the hose, which is great.-Noise: not too bad. Noise isn’t a huge factor for me anyway, but this unit sounds about the same as a previous one I was replacing.-Status light: nice summary. Makes it easy to go down the stairs and get an instant “we’re great / we’re okay / we’re in trouble” reading without having to go all the way to the unit itself.-Customer service has been very helpful in trying to address my issue. It sounds like this unit wasn’t right based on my circumstances, but they worked with me to ensure that I didn’t have a negative experience with them as a seller.CONS:-Performance: disappointing. As I mentioned, my basement is only 800 sq ft, and this unit’s capacity is over 3 times that, but it still struggled to keep up. The lowest it ever got was to 55% humidity, and most days, it was hanging around 65%. It seems that most people recommend basement humidity in the safe range of 30-50%, so I worry about health and safety issues if this machine.-Iconography: fairly confusing. The “Mode” option in particular has a raindrop or a t-shirt icon. What do these icons mean? Well, you won’t find that explanation in the user manual provided with the machine. The only place I saw it defined was on the Amazon listing itself, which is a poor user experience.-Drainage hose: honestly, a little shorter than I was expecting. Not a huge deal based on the placement of my unit, but for some people, that could pose an issue.-Filter: I’ve only had it for a few days so I haven’t cleaned the filter yet, but to echo another review on this product, you’d have to disconnect the drainage hose in order to get to the filter, which is fairly inconvenient. Would’ve been better to have the filter more accessible without having to disconnect other parts.
