Third one. Works well but goes bad after warranty
So about every 2-ish years have to replace this. Camera or usually the monitor will just die. Not a battery either, replaced that several times. Eventually the monitor just craps out. Charger port dies, etc. I mean with what it’s intended for, it gets 10-12 hr of use every single day. Works well, no delay. Just wish it would last for the length of need for a single kid. We usually keep until around age 4-5 yr and that means 2-3 of these for each kid! For the price it should be 1 and done. I do like the extra monitor for use traveling. That way we don’t have to remove the wall mounted one by the crib. Def well worth the 2nd camera. Also the flexible snake mount works great as universal mount for hotels/condo rentals

Unacceptable product. Shame on Motorola for continuing to sell this as it is
First day in use… Wow, I don’t understand where all the good reviews are from. I suppose I got what I paid for? But I don’t accept it. I thought I couldn’t go wrong with Motorola as I’ve used their products before. The image has very, very low quality compared to other inexpensive brands I’ve used. So in my opinion, do better Motorola. The camera is zoomed in so close I can’t see everything I should be able to. If I put the camera further away, it’s too grainy. On top of the bad quality imaging, this device is incredibly slow. I click the switch camera view and its a solid 3 seconds to flip. 3 seconds doesn’t sound like much until you think about screaming kids, a terrifying noise OR silence, or simply that you were used to a camera that flipped screens instantly. ALSO there is a delay in what you hear. Which isn’t that big of a deal in the one day I’ve had the camera setup, it just something that caught my attention because I didn’t have that with my old monitor. The only upside to this monitor is that the cameras are portable. But who knows how long they’ll hold a charge for. It already seems like the parental control is running out of battery.I am looking at returning this monitoring and won’t consider a Motorola again. Unacceptable.

    Perfect for any room
Good quality material. Videos are clear. Sensitive enough to detect a fly’s movement. Two-way talk feature is of high quality.Good for use in any room.

    Second purchase
Brought this after finding out the infant optics didn’t even reach so that I could water plants or throw a ball for my dog 10 ft from my house. Works great for being able to be a hot second from home. Don’t get me wrong, we are only ever at the neighbors but still. Nice to keep an eye on my boys and still get to enjoy myself! However. The first one pooped out after about 2 years. This is our second.

My second set: for a GOOD reason!
I have bought two sets of the two cameras now so I have a good amount of feedback.2022: Our first set was suggested to us from a friend. I wanted something WiFi free at the time because our internet was unreliable. I loved the fact the cameras could be unplugged and still work. We are a big camping family so this was important. Plus the range was higher from the time then the others available. I started to have problems with the charging port three years in. Not because of the monitor itself. The cameras and monitor went though a lot of stressOver the three years with my toddler getting a hold of it and forcing the camera to move of hard pressing the buttons. Either way. At around the three-year mark. The charging port started to get very touchy. I would have the monitor sitting on my nightstand, charging appropriately before falling asleep. It would not get touched. And at some point it would stop charging. I imagine There was just damage to the actual port and it couldn’t handle an overload of electricity.Fast forward…2025: Third baby born and I would love a third camera. It’s nice cause you can add cameras onto this. You can’t buy the camera separately though. I looked annd looked. About a year after he was born. The port started to go. We went over the options and still wanted a WiFi free set up. I reallyLiked the idea of using the cameras we had sense they are still perfectly good. So we bought a second set up. Buying a second set was the same price as a WiFi set up in 2025. My husband didn’t want a WiFi set either. The old cameras paired perfectly. And now I have four cameras with one monitor. It’s grainy compared to what’s available. The sound is perfect. Which is what we use it for the most. Video is second to double check. (Older kids call it our Walky-talky) Its a much more zoomed in view then a WiFi camera as well but with 4- 360 cameras I’ll just pan around to see. We aren’t 100% comfortable with wifi cameras cause of our internet set up still. Our power goes out often from snow on the power lines. It can be 30mins or 3 days without power or internet. Even if the power goes out with this set up, the monitor and cameras will remain on for a few hours.

    Not worth it.
Genuinely not worth the money. I’ve been using an older model of this exact motorola monitor for 6 years. It finally quit on us so I ordered this one praying it would compair. It does NOT. The video quality is awful and you can barely hear anything through this. I actually purchased a small sound monitor to keep in my sons room because I can barely hear him until he SCREAMS. The cameras also have constant issues with not moving when pressing the buttons on the parent unit. I have to unpair the camera, unplug it, then pair it back to the parent unit. This happens about once per week with one camera or the other. I regret purchasing this product.

    Disappointed
I really expected this camera to be goodUnfortunately is laggingPicture quality is so bad, it’s mind blowing to know that in 2025 a product with such bad image could exist, not only that, the night mode mode is even worse, the image stutters can even process a real time imageAlso found that camera battery didn’t even last 6 hoursSuper disappointing
