lets you use your phone in the car without messing around
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this thing up because my old car does not have any of the fancy tech, and I wanted something that could do CarPlay without dropping a ton of cash. Setting it up was not too hard, just plugged it into the cigarette lighter and stuck it on the dash. The screen is a decent size and clear enough to see maps and stuff while driving.CarPlay connects wirelessly, which is sweet because I hate messing with cables.It has Bluetooth for calls and music, and that part works fine. I can hear people okay, and they say I do not sound like a robot, so that is a win. It also comes with a little backup camera, which I did not expect to like as much as I do. It is not super high def, but it helps me not back into stuff, so I will take it. The touchscreen responds pretty fast too, not like those old GPS units that you had to press ten times.Now, there are a couple things that are kind of meh. The speaker on the unit is not great, so I had to run it through my car speakers to get decent sound. Also, the mounting thing could be strongerâit shakes a bit on bumpy roads, which gets annoying. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely not perfect. Overall, it does the job. Gives my old car some new tricks without needing to take it to a shop or spend a fortune. If you want something simple that lets you use your phone in the car without messing around, this gets the job done. Just do not expect it to look like it came with the car.

This CarPlay has great quality and easy to setup.we can easily access maps ,music ,call and messages .Also the price is great for such a good item .The screen is great ,very clear and compact.And the touch screen is very responsive,similar to smartphones .I would recommend it .

Good for the money, room for improvement but does the work.
I think this is a good device that is very easy to use, however there are some things to keep in mind:1. Screen quality: Def not an HD screen, screen is a bit dim and hard to read the map in the sunlight. The solution is to switch the map to dark mode and it will be good.2. Responsiveness: Great, no delays there.3. Size: This is a good one, not too big, not too small.4. Setup: The arm mount is flimsy, looks like it will break easily. The car adapter does not have a secondary port to charge your phone so you are out of luck there. Backup Camera will take some work to get installed.5. Connectivity: I love that my phone remains connected to the car’s BT speaker system (screen speakers are not ideal, and AUX mode causes some static), and when using the car BT’s system, wheel controls work perfectly.Conclusion: It’s a good budget device, it will do the task BUT some tinkering might be required.
