The Best Budget Claw/Fingertip Mouse.
I consider my self somewhat of a gaming mouse enthusiast. I currently have 6 mice that stay on my desk.Viper V2 Pro, Deathadder V3 Pro, GPX SuperLight 1, G703, G305 and now the Cobra. Only one of which is my main ( Viper V2 Pro ) But I like to switch between them. I’m more a collector now than anything. I have tons of other mice in the drawer. Knowing I have had my hands on these more expensive mice I can give honest unbiased thoughts on the Cobra. 40$ after tax in my opinion is an absolute steal. Yes even for a wired mouse these days. They could easily charge $60-$70 for this mouse. It comes with a modified version of Razers top optical sensor ( which is just a modified 3395 ) and I have had zero of the issues people stated early on after this mouse released like “spin out” and LOD issues. Cobra has performed flawlessly so far. I will come back and update this review if any issues arise. One huge plus is the Cobra/Cobra Pro comes with Razers optical switches. Which means no need to worry about double clicking. The mouse 1 & 2 are loud though. Just like the rest of Razers line up of mice. The clicks themselves feel great. Little bit on the mushy side though. Wish they were a tad bit more snappy. But they are still great. No issues. The side thumb buttons are absolutely perfect. I am an absolute thumb button snob because I actually use them a lot. They are very snappy and not mushy at all. These make the GPX SuperLight feel cheap. The skates ( mouse feet ) and very good as well. No need to upgrade them to aftermarket skates because they perform very well out the box. If you have large hands I wouldn’t recommend this mouse. My hands are 19.5cmx10.5cm and this mouse is a tad bit small for me but luckily I’m a claw gripper. Would have liked to see some included grip tape, not a huge deal though since it is only $40. It’s also light weight at 58 grams. All in all, it’s a fantastic buy. Definitely recommend at least giving it a try! ( Not going to compare it to the Viper Mini as I do not own one. )

Razer is back
Razer has always made good mice, but they would always break on me. The quality was really bad back then. But in the last 2 years Razer has upped their quality. This mouse is extremely lightweight. Optical switches instead of mechanical, feels good, no double clicking. Good cable, feels lightweight and moveable. The lighting on this mouse is very minimal, its barely even noticable, so dont buy this if youre hoping for something flashy. Textured material can take some time to get used to, but not a big deal. Side buttons feel very clicky, ive heard people had side button issues, we will see in a year. Ive had scroll wheels on the Razer Deathadder break and go into a free spin, we will see how this one fares. Overall i like this mouse, it doesnt have a whole lot of features, but its lightweight and i like the optical switches.Also. Why is Razer Synapse nearly 400mb?!8.

Good if you want a quality light weight mouse
I’ve used this mouse for about 6 months now and I like it. I wanted a lightweight mouse since extended sessions with a heavier one bothers my wrist significantly. I have not had any issue with this one. It fits well in my hand. I like the color changing light in the logo in front as well. There are several dpi settings and the scroll wheel works well. I didn’t try the 2 buttons on the left side. The cable is also sufficiently long.

Good, but overpriced
I hear people talking about big hands, small hands, etc. I find my hand to be normal, I guess. For me, I would say that if the mouse were any smaller, it would be too small. The material that it is made out of has a very mild abrasive feel to it and as a result it makes it feel comfortable to grip and hold. It is accurate, and quite fast when moving it around. Buttons are clicky and solid. Scroll wheel has a nice grip to it and it feels rigid when moving, yet at the same time smooth. Not loose like on the basilisk V3 that I am sending back. To me it feels better than the basilisk. The scroll wheel on the basilisk felt as if it was skipping when I would move it. The Cobra feels very light, yet at the same time very well built. Solid. The only thing wrong with this mouse is that it is overpriced. If this thing were $25 or less, it would sell like hotcakes, in my opinion. Also, it does offer a button to change the DPI, and you can change the RGB on it. I am going to keep it.

Just from using it for 1-2~ months the scroll start to overshot and or jumps all over the place. I can’t read anything or play with it!

I was honestly surprised by how good this mouse is for the price. It’s lightweight, responsive, and works flawlessly. The build quality feels solid, and it’s comfortable to use for long hours. I didnât expect much at this price point, but it has exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly mouse that performs well, this is definitely a great choice!

This is to replace my Viper Mini which after a year of gaming the left button is loose. It still works fine but it does rattle. I hope this Cobra will will not have the same problem.I like Razer mice but unwilling to pay premium prices. These budget minis suit me just fine.Deathadder V2 Mini is nice but too low on the right which cause my pinkie to rub on the mouse mat.Viper Mini has a comfortable shape but the left button did not last long.Logitech G102 has a shape I like but the switches are too sensitive which caused many accidental right clicks. Besides, they are still mechanical switches whereas Razer mice have optical.
