Spigen Audio SA-HP P10 Over-Ear Headphones with Active Noise CancellationI haven’t owned any over the ear headphones for sometime so my review may be somewhat biased but my first impressions were WOW!!! The quality of these headphones are really good, they feel as well robust as my mates Dr Dre pair. With these foldable type headphones it does not matter how amazing the speakers are, the call clarity, the ease of use if you accidentally drop them once and they break at the fold joints. And at least one of my kids has fell foul to this and it’s also the reason I moved to Open Ear Headphones. But I got the opportunity to try these out and will only be using them at home in a carpeted environment, so hopefully they’ll last awhile.Anyway the headphones feel really well made and all the navigation buttons are on the right cup and although it takes a while to remember which is the power button and which is the ANC as they are opposite ends of the button array, it soon gets stored in ones muscle memory. The foam cups are very soft and comfortable and with the foam on the headband it makes wearing these headphones a joy. Charging via the USB-C port is easy and they didn’t take long to be fully charged.Connecting to Bluetooth was a doddle and I was up and running in no time.Rather helpfully they also included an audio cable which was cool because I’d given the last spare to one of my kids. The beauty of using the audio cable is you don’t need to switch the headphones on, they just work. It also means that if your using them for gaming then you have zero lag, not that I was able to make out the difference but I’m only and amateur gamer so am in no position to clarify if this is the case or not.The other surprise was that you can download a companion app so you can tweak the equaliser using pre-sets or custom, you can change the ANC depending on your environment. You can adjust the left and right volumes to suit your unique requirements, there is the option to change what the hardware buttons do and you can set a power off timer when not in use. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. So for a sub £40 pair of headphones you are getting a ton of stuff, all of which is super useful. I took a video which I’ll upload showing exactly how long it took to do the firmware update as well, so this was yet another happy surprise, that Spigen are looking after their product and by extension the customers user experience.The sound quality is amazing, when playing C.O.D. on my mobile what I thought were good sound effects on my Open Ear headphones take on another dimension. With deep resonating bass from explosions, to bi directional awareness of enemies, to the pop of the weapons. Just outstanding!! I got completely lost in testing these to having a full on sesh. Even cranking these up to full volume, which I wouldn’t advise if you care for your ears, was brilliant with no loss of sound, bass or rattling from the speaker components. Call clarity was excellent. I am at a loss of any negatives for the Spigen Audio SA-HP P10 Over-Ear Headphones with ANC. These are truly a delight to use.
