Works great!
The design of this feeder makes it very sturdy. We had a different type and one of the cats knocked it over and broke it. This one is not only sturdy, but also easy to program with a battery back-up. It holds plenty of food and is very quiet. We’ve only had this one about a week, but so far, it’s doing the job well.

Once I figured out how to set this with the proper serving amount, it works great for my cat. She doesn’t get over our under fed. It makes my life so much easier. One less task everyday. When I go out of town she gets automatically fed the proper amount, then someone can just go in and check on her. The food stays fresh in the storage part. It’s easy to fill. You can set it for multiple feedings pure day. It did take me a bit to figure out how to set time and serving amount but once I did it’s definitely worth it. It does plug in so be aware it must be set up somewhere near a plug. There’s a back up battery should you loose power.

THE BEST AUTOMATIC FEEDER
Absolutely the best and easiest to use. I tried those with the tiny instructions. Geez you needed to be a rocket scientist to figure that out. Easy to set for multiple feedings. I bought 2 for my cats. If you buy anything else you’re wasting your money.

[[[[Buyer Beware]]] Does not Recharge
I thought this was a promising feeder but I am 45 days into owning it and it has proven to be one of the most frustrating purchases I have had.1. The app is pretty useless… It is farmed out to someone else because when you ask for help it just is very circular. In order to add my feeder initially I was told I had to download another app (which was not free) and I finally figured out on my own why the device wasn’t pairing.2. After 45 days the battery is dead (listing says 100). I have had it charging for 16 hours and it is at…27%. I am debating what to do with this thing because clearly it is a piece of junk.Hindsight, when I encountered the app situation I probably should have initiated the return then and there.. Now I am outside the return window and stuck with a feeder that had less battery life than if I used one that takes 4D or 4C batteries AND does not charge accordingly. If I wanted to keep it plugged in I wouldn’t have bought this model.

This was an excellent purchase for my cat.When I need to be away for the day I know he’s getting the right portion of his dry food at the right time. It was very easy to set up. He now knows when he hears the dry food hit the pan, it’s time to eat.The aluminum pan that lifts out is very easy to clean to keep it sanitary.

Got 2 of these feeders for my fur babies while my partner and I are a way for weekends and they have been very reliable. We keep ours plugged in and have had 0 issues. I really like that you can record your voice to call your pets, mine know exactly when the food is coming because of this feature. Depending on the size of the kibble you use, it can last for a while and unreachable for your pets to overeat. The app makes it super easy to set up feeding schedules with portions and to feed your babies whenever you want. The setup was very easy to understand and had them up and running within 15 mins tops. I really recommend this if you want a very easy to use and reliable cat feeder.

1. It does not come with batteries but amazon still puts battery warning sticker on the box. Go figure.2. Programming instructions are NOT i the box. In the small manual inuded there is aqr code that leads you to a website that has learn more button that leads you just to main website with tons of popups trying to score your personal data. Then you go to support section and the product is not even there! So no instructions available.
