Great phone holder for VR apps
Not sure what other reviewers were expecting, but this phone holder headset is fantastic for the price, of course it’s not fully standalone VR.Pros: Nice face padding, fully adjustable lenses, adjustable pupil distance, and a decent head strap. My huge Pixel 9 pro xl fits perfectly fine even with the case on.Cons: now I want to buy another one.I bought this specifically to use as a fpv drone spectator headset with an android usb otg camera receiver. It’s perfect for letting other people watch when I’m flying. For $20 I doubt it can be beat by any other options on Amazon.

Didnât work for me
I purchased this to watch movies/shows on my phone easily and comfortably- not for VR. It failed. No matter how much I adjusted, I could not view my phone clearly. It was as if the black piece between the two lenses was too deep. It obstructed my view to the point where the picture appeared distorted. It was impossible to watch anything so back to Amazon it goes!

It’s a plastic holder for your phone
These things have been out forever and while it does fit my iPhone 15 Pro Max without a case, there could be some better options out there. If you just want to watch some VR style videos or whatever on your phone without dropping a boatload on an actual VR system, this might be good for you. The phone does fit well inside the case though and never worried about it popping out and losing my $1,000 phone. It would be nice if they had better instructions or guidance to good vr apps on your phone, so they do get docked for that. If you’re buying these, you know nothing about VR and want to dabble in it. Better guidance for apps, etc would bring this up to a 4 star. As far as comfort, they don’t have like super padding on it or anything, so it could get tiring over time, but then your phone would die by then anyways, so just overall good for the casual user.

A budget-friendly VR headset with wide compatibility, and a comfortable, glasses-friendly fit.
This VR headset offers a convenient and immersive experience for smartphone users, supporting iPhone, Android, and Windows devices ranging from 5.5″ to 7.2″.With a lightweight design, glasses-friendly fit, and 40mm HD resin lenses, it provides a decent entry into virtual reality.Pros:Wide Device Compatibility â Works with most smartphones, including larger models up to 7.2 inches.Glasses-Friendly Design â Accommodates users who wear glasses for a more comfortable experience.40mm HD Resin Lenses â Aspherical lenses enhance clarity and reduce distortion for better visuals.Adjustable IPD â Allows users to fine-tune interpupillary distance for a better viewing experience.Lightweight & Comfortable â Designed for extended use without excessive strain or discomfort.Secure Phone Fit â Holds devices firmly in place to prevent shifting during use.Cons:Fixed Focus â Lacks individual focus adjustment, which may be limiting for users with different vision needs. No Built-in Controls â Requires a separate controller for interactive VR experiences.Limited Field of View â Not as immersive as higher-end VR headsets with wider FOV.A solid choice for casual VR users, this headset balances affordability and functionality but may not satisfy those looking for advanced VR features. I have given it a high rating, because it does everything that they say it should do., but do not compare these type of VR devices with the high end devices costing hundreds of dollars. It is very neat as there are lots of VR videos on line that give you a feeling of doing things, like Skydiving and such.

Cheap
It works but it broke on second use. Thereâs a reason itâs cheap

Would not buy this for anyone else!
This would be a great device for someone who likes to feel dizzy while playing aVR game. You have to move your head to make any movement in the game.

Ok for first VR experience
This unit is a first experience in stereo VR and for that, it is ok. For some, the controls might be a bit difficult, but the unit is able to focus on the VR video. If you are new to the concept of stereo VR, this format accomplishes in video what the old stereoscopic devices accomplished in still pictures. Stereo VR projects a video for the left eye and a slightly different video for the right eye. Two separate videos that appear to the viewer as 3D images. There are free stereo VR videos on the Internet. If you have a queasy stomach, stay away from rollercoaster rides or falls. Try something gentler, such as a spacewalk provided by NASA or an underwater adventure. Pick something mild to begin with.As to the unit itself, it is made of inexp0ensive materials, and it is difficult to focus. But, a decent focus can be achieved with a bit of fiddling. There are two control wheels on the top of the unit. Each eye is focused separately. The Kiiroo VR Headset does not focus like binoculars, where you focus the left eye and then match the right eye to that focus. With this VR headset, you focus each eye separately. For this reason, I would recommend these for teens and adults. There is also a center wheel to control zoom. The wearer can zoom in and out of the scene. This viewer does not come with a separate remote control, so you have to start the video playing on the phone, and then insert the phone into the viewer.
