Better Than My Herman Miller â No Knee Pain Like Varier, Perfect for ADHD and Long Hours
I always thought my Herman Miller was the gold standard of office chairs. Iâve been using it for years and never imagined Iâd find something betterâuntil I got this cross-legged office chair. As someone with ADHD, I struggle to stay in one position for long. Most regular office chairs make me restless, distracted, and sometimes even give me back pain. This chair feels completely different.First of all, the design is incredibly open and flexible. The seat is wide, and both the height and the footrest are adjustable. I can sit cross-legged, half-kneeling, or with one leg up and one leg down, and it never feels awkward. The footrest swivels, which is a huge plusâit makes changing positions smooth and effortless. For me, that flexibility is the key to focus. I can sit and work for three hours straight without getting up to move around, something thatâs simply impossible for me on my Herman Miller.Iâve also tried Varier kneeling-style chairs in the past, but their weight support mainly rests on the knees, and after a while, it becomes painful. This chair is a huge improvementâyour weight is supported by the seat itself, with the footrest there just to change posture and relieve pressure. Love Hate.
So i bought this chair mostly bc i have short legs so im never comfy sitting in a normal height desk chair. I have a small desk from amazon, 30″ height, and usually sit weird so was hoping this chair would fit well in the space and cater to my weird needs.Its comfy but i could sit on a rock and be comfy so i dont have a valid opinion here. It was easy enough to put together. Material is good soft faux leather. I dont want to out my weight but it holds up. LolMain issue is that the wheels are bulky and tall, and the front wheels at the footstool do not adjust very low. It prevents the foot stool from adjusting as low as I would like. Its easy to lose circulation from the angle this is comfy sitting at with this height.And the back unscrews itself and becomes loose easily, no support from the tiny thing anyways.While its better than a standard desk chair for what i needed… i would not recommend it unless you have a slightly taller desk.

Easy to assemble, looks neat. I’ve only used it for 3 days so far, finally I can shift positions comfortably and not torture my legs. It allows pretty weird body configurations, perfect for people who just can’t sit straight for more than 10 minutes. I kind of wish the footrest height could be adjusted too, but it’s not really a big problem if your table is height-adjustable: I make everything higher relative to the footrest and can sit however I want. First chair in years that actually supports my back as I’m not sliding to the very edge of the seat every 2 minutes.

Heute angekommen. Mein erster Eindruck: gute Qualität, stabil, bequem, viel Bewegungsfreiheit. Bisher bin ich begeistert! Ich suche seit Ewigkeiten nach einem passenden Stuhl für mich, da ich Nacken und Rückenprobleme habe und durch mein ADHS nicht Stillsitzen kann.Wie der Stuhl sich auf Dauer macht wird sich zeigen, aber bisher bin ich voll zufrieden:)
