REOLINK TrackMix+Solar Panel, 4K Solar
I have purchased serveral of these cameras and haven’t had any problems in the last 3 years. They have very good night vision and you can tweak them to what you want with light, sharpness, contrast, etc. You can use a 128gb mini card for recording without paying for it and you can record over older files once it is full so you don’t have to go in and reformat.I use these for viewing our Home, shop and the 5 acres we live on and are very happy with them

Awesome security camera. Set it and forget it
LOVE this camera/solar panel combo! Perfect picture during playback of events, ok streaming quality but thatâs probably my slow internet connection

Great image quality with good tracking function but missed some motion detection
This is a fairly big camera among todayâs security cameras. At about 3.2lb not counting the solar panel, it is also pretty heavy. Setting up is easy but the power and rest switches are located at different compartment from the Mirco SD housing. I would have preferred they all are within the same housing.Setting up through the Reolink is straight forward and if you also have Reolinkâs HomeHub, you can elect to setup as standalone or connected to the HomeHub.The Reolink app offer both wide and tele lens view at same time which makes it very useful especially when tracking motion. Speaking of tracking, it is off by default and one has to enable it, Once enabled, it is in digital tracking mode, meaning the camera itself will not pan and tilt, jut zooming it with the digital image, if on the other hand, pan/tilt first mode is selected, the camera will pan and tilt with the subject. One more thing to note, the pan/tilt range is also adjustable and the default range is a fairly narrow one.The solar panel is to be mount separately for maximum sunlight exposure. In this summer days, it is more than enough to cover the power consumption during the night. For places that does not have enough sunlight, one can also charge the battery via USB C port. One issue I have is due to its use of PIR sensor for motion detection, the motion detection is more accurate in the center half than the two quarters edges. As result, it sometimes either did not detect motion or trigger the camera recording too late. But this a tradeoff for battery operated cameras.Overall, this is a good solar powered tracking camera with hybrid zoom that allows me to set it up on location that is not practical to run a power line to it.

Typical Reolink quality and value.
I went hunting around on the Reolink website trying to do a bit more research on this camera than what is provided in the description here, but unfortunately it would seem this camera is so new, it hasn’t made it to the official Reolink website yet. Previous versions of this camera would seem to have been equipped with a 2k image sensor, so the move to 4k seems to be the main improvement to this camera. The lens is a 2.8mm for the “wide angle” and 8mm for the “zoom”. That’s quite a change and when you’re on the zoom lens, things get much closer. It’s really awesome how the 2 lenses make this both a fantastic wide field of view camera as well as a “close and personal” camera all in the same device. It is not a “vandal proof” camera, so there are a few considerations when mounting it. First, mounting it up high and out of reach is a fantastic idea. Also, the solar panel needs as much direct sunlight as you can give it to have the most reliable power delivery and battery life. It comes with everything you need to mount it, including templates for holes and mounting screws. There are several ways to connect to it, including the actually pretty decent Reolink app, OR you can connect to it via the Reolink home hub (I recommend the pro version). It also has in-camera storage if you choose to install a Micro-SD card. And hold on to your hats, it supports up to a 512GB Micro-SD card. That’s a HUGE SD card which should hold a LOT of video. None of which requires any monthly fee or subscription. Bravo on that, Reolink.Having not tested the 2k version of this camera, I can’t say for certain if the image quality is better than the previous version, but given as they’ve effectively doubled the resolution, my best guess would be it should be significantly better. The image quality here certainly is top notch, even in night vision mode. Like most security cameras, there is always a benefit if you can provide them some ambient light. And like most Reolink cameras, setup is an absolute breeze. There are more expensive cameras on the market, and there are cheaper cameras on the market, but you will be hard pressed to find a better VALUE in a security camera than in Reolink cameras. This camera, like most Reolink cameras, dominates in features, quality, and performance per dollar spent. Very recommended, 5 stars.

5 out of 5A new aspect of design with some great features . This 4k PTZl dual lens camera with 160 degree field of view, 256g optional storage 2.4 or 5 ghz wifi and colour night vision sounds like a deal. Especially with it’s new upgraded solar panel and larger battery offering even more bang for you’re buck. Plus, time-lapse condenses long-term events into minutes, facilitating easy observation of transformations. With all this out of the way, the camera itself really does offer a great field of view from head to toe. The 3d unwrapping feature helps the app see undistorted lines and shapes. Providing you with a more true to life view of a person or object. Having a remote view of someone at you’re door step really adds a sense of security and peace of mind. I never thought it would be so useful until I installed this little gem. Now I see when my amazon packages arrive and Who’s driving the vehicle. I can talk to the person directly or leave messages that will chime when needed. I can see the uber eats delivery guy arrive so I am ready to greet him. I see when my family and friends come for a visit unexpectedly. It really is amazing how I’ve missed out all these years of not having this security feature installed.Final thought; 5 out of 5The back door is always a source of anxiety since it’s the second point of entry to you’re home. Keeping this in mind most back entry ways aren’t visible from inside you’re domicile. With this dual lens camera you can finally put those worries to rest. With fantastic picture quality, 2 way communication, auditory alert, night vision, remote viewing in app and 2 way storage options. This is a must have tool in you’re security arsenal.

This is an excellent well made professional grade security camera that’s mainly made of metal body compared to the cheaper plastic ones. Like most security cameras today, most are solar powered and this camera kit is 6 Watts with 4K 8MP Dual Lens which give you 8mm telephoto lens capturing close-up for details, and the 2.8mm wide-angle lens giving you a panoramic view of all your surroundings. The security camera has auto tracking and is motion triggered and you can people, vehicles or animals in the daytime or nighttime with full color with the help of the built in light. The camera will pan 360 but only 355 degrees is usable and tilts 90 degrees automatically and can be seen on the phone, tablet or other devices using the downloaded REOLINK Security Camera app from Google Play or Apple Market Place. The solar panel providing 6W of power to the security camera is great for not having to worry about running wires as well as the WiFi 6 giving you decent streaming up to 12 different devices using the REOLINK app. You can store your recordings on a Micro SD up to a 512Gb and play it back on your device using the REOLINK app without having to uploaded to the cloud or service. If you wish, REOLINK does provides 16T through the Reolink Home Hub or Home Hub Pro.With the wireless connection through the WiFi 6 and the 6W solar powered security camera as well the all weather waterproofing, we are able to keep an eye on our long driveway were we keep the motorhome parked when there is someone around it. Having a speaker, microphone and alarm helps me listen and communicate to word off any issues that may or will come across.Having a professional grade quality made security camera t protect our investment of home and property is a top priority and worth every penny.

This Reolink camera is pretty good overall and offers some great features that stand out. One of the best things is Reolinkâs user interface, which is intuitive, clean, and easy to navigate. Setting up the camera and managing settings is straightforward, even for those who arenât super tech-savvy.The dual-lens system is clever, combining an 8mm telephoto lens for close-up details and a 2.8mm wide-angle lens for a panoramic view all displayed on one screen. This gives a comprehensive picture of whatâs happening around your home without needing to switch views. The auto-tracking feature with 8x hybrid zoom generally does a good job keeping the subject in frame, although it can sometimes lag a bit or be a little jumpy depending on movement. The response time feels fairly fast during live viewing and alerts, but I have seen faster cameras on the market, so if you need lightning-fast reactions, this might not be the absolute best choice. Video quality is solid, with the 4K 8MP resolution providing sharp, clear images, especially during the day. Night vision is enhanced by the built-in motion spotlight, allowing you to see color details at night, which is a nice upgrade over basic IR-only models. The cameraâs wire-free design powered by a 6W solar panel is a big plus for convenience, eliminating frequent battery charging and allowing flexible placement. Storage options are versatile too, supporting local microSD cards up to 512GB and expandable network storage via Reolinkâs Home Hub solutions, with no monthly fees for storage.Overall, this camera strikes a good balance between usability, image quality, and convenience. Itâs a solid choice for someone wanting a reliable wireless security camera with a nice UI and decent performance, though those who prioritize ultra-fast response might want to look elsewhere.

Iâve installed a few security cameras over the years, and this one was on par with the other, quite straightforward. The instructions were clear enough that I didnât need to Google anything halfway through. Mounting the solar panel and camera was simple, and everything felt sturdy, nothing feeling cheap to me.The app setup was good, not the best but far from the worst, and the interface is intuitive. I had it tracking and recording within minutes. The features are responsive and the image quality is decent, even at night. Impressive for a battery powered camera (hard wired usually have better performance in my books).Only hiccup was some minor lag in the Wi-Fi feed, but Iâm pretty sure thatâs interference from another device nearby. It wasnât consistent enough to be a dealbreaker.Overall, Iâm impressed. Itâs well-built, easy to use, and does exactly what I need it to. It’s a solid solar-powered cam.

PROS: the outdoor solar security camera works great! It has a tracking option to follow movement very helpful if you are placing it in an area where you want wider coverage. I also like that the resolution is quite clear, and the solar panal is very handy to keep it charged about 2-4 hours a day of direc5 sunlight keeps it continually charged, and in the summer/spring when uve been using it so far there has been plenty of sunlight and i haven’t had to charge it again yet since installing it (havent tested it in the fall/winter yet so performance tbd). I’ve also had quick live/recorded video playback. And i love that no month subscription is required to use it, and you can add extra storage. I find the app simple to use as wellCONS: it’s a little expensive, and sometimes phone notifications are a bit delayed. The temp rating goes till approx -11 °C so I’m worry about winter performance as it definitely gets colder than that where i live in Canada.Overall I would highly recommend this product to others ðð¾ ð
