Really fun and great idea!
Full disclosure, the first one I ordered wouldn’t turn on and a replacement arrived two days later, so great customer service! I plugged it in after connecting a few, started the music playing, and sure enough the lights respond to the beat. It can be used without the app if you’s like. But really, the ability to chain them in any orientation you’d like makes these awesome. Well that, and the cool colors responding to the sounds around the controller. I love this thing!

Gorgeous!
Absolutely gorgeous. Works very well. I love all the colors and customizability. I’ve had it as lights in my display case shelves and it’s so beautiful.

Not that great
They look nice but it’s a pain to hang on the wall. The sticky pads they send with it are a joke I had to go buy my own. They sticky pads are little clear stretchy things and it’s so hard to get the one side peeled off by the time you get it off it’s destroyed. The remote sucks when switching between color modes it constantly freezes and you have to unplug it then plug it back in. Works fine manually from the switch though

Very cool decorations
These LED wall lights are really cool. I think their best purpose is for aesthetic mood lighting in a room, or using the music feature to have the light dance to music like at a party or for your own enjoyment. They are very bright and feature a range of colors. The package comes with 10 of the hexagon LED pucks, and each puck has multiple USB connectors (one on each face) and at least a couple of LED lights inside the main body. There is also something built in that can detect sound. You build out your shape pattern you want to do with the lights and use some usb 2 way inserts with a plastic body to hold it that connects 2 of the hexagons together. In this way you create your shape pattern for the lights. It is important to follow the instructions when it comes to these USB bridges. They have an arrow on them which should always be facing away from the point that is actually plugged into the wall and there is also no need to put more than 1 connector into a given puck, as it will break the circuit.Once connected you plug the USB power into your starting point. This requires a full size USB port on a charger, as it does not come with 1. It is also important to note there is a yellow tag close to one of the USB plugs and that side should go in to your power source. The side without the tag goes in to your puck.Once connected you can use the in line control or the included remote or app to control the pucks. I am wary of getting yet another chinese app on my phone so I just used the inline power. The lights are bright and there are a couple of different modes. They’re really vibrant, very cool. Watching the light dance to music was fun.I think this would be great for a kids room to really make it feel “cool” or for any space where you are entertaining. Mancave / tv room / play room / etc.I think these are worth it.

Honestly, more interesting than I thought it would be
I wasn’t sure what to expect – RGB decor is a big marketplace with lots of cheap products that don’t function well. These interlocking hexagonal tiles are pretty cool. They work together nicely with various patterns that are propagated through whatever design you lay out. Each side of each hexagon has a USB connection, and they are bridged with little USB couplers.I like most of the patterns for color, cycling, blinking, etc. in the LEDs. None of them are too obnoxious, an most of them work pretty well with various shapes.I was considering going 5/5 on this one, because this product is pretty neat, but there is room for improvement here — and at the current price, I think a customer can expect a more well-considered design. Here are a few examples of ways these could work better:1. Better mounting options — the included 2-sided tape / pads aren’t even 3M branded or anything, they don’t seem super reliable and are definitely not re-usable. Real mounting hardware, if not more reliable / brand name adhesives, would be great.2. More details about how the connectors / patterns work, and in particular, information about combining multiple sets, what are the limitations? Is there a way to make a circle pattern work?3. This would benefit from a dozen plastic tabs thrown in — same size as the USB couplers, but just making physical connections. This could strengthen and hold together more complex or odd shapes.4. A USB extension cord or two would be great, M-to-M, to allow a design that has parts that are not connected. Bonus if it were slim or translucent, or even somehow LED interactive with the design itself. Now, some of those are wants, not things to hold against this item. But the instructions are missing some useful info, and the lack of structural / physical connectors combined with the lower quality and limited mounting options included, that’s what brings me down to 4/5. That can easily be handled on your own, so if you want these LED lights, and the price is good to you – even if you know you’ll spend $5 more on some higher quality double-sided tape, then I think this is a good buy for you.
