These are excellent screw that include a bit if you need one and are basically impossible to strip even under a strong impact driver.These are truly a good quality 316 screw and will last a lot longer than 304 when they are used in a place the has a lot of salty water or chlorinated water.Before I used two entire boxes of these I wanted to test them to see how they did first.So I made up a truly nasty solution of super saline water and pool chlorine tablets and let two of the screws sit in it for 24 hours straight and when I pulled them out they basically looked the same as when I put them in with a little less sheen being the only difference noted. Also in that solution was a 304 stainless screw and it started showing some pitting so these are definitely a good quality 316 stainless screw.I ran two entire boxes of these screws with an impact driver for my project and didn’t have a single instance of the screw stripping or it bending in anyway.Your getting your money’s worth with these and they are a good purchase to make it you want a solid product and peace of mind.

Quality costs. These are subject to harsh saltwater conditions but can be expected to remain virtually rust free. They are expensive. what isnât?The shipping box was unscathed, but the plastic tub the screws came in was shattered. Havenât found the torx bit yet.Iâd buy them again, so I better start saving

Excellent 316 SS construction screws
If you want to avoid rust stains on wood siding or decking you need these screws. Think about it – if you use galvanized or cadmium plated nails or screws, or coated nails or screws, the installation process is likely to damage the protective surface over the mild steel fastener. Eventually the mild steel will corrode and stain the adjacent wood surfaces – it is inevitable, even with paint or stain over the nails or screws. These screws are 316 stainless steel, superior to 304 and 305 for corrosion resistance. As others have commented, it is a good idea to pre-drill pilot holes. Do it right the first time and avoid the need to fix rust staining. These screws are not cheap but are definitely worth it. 5 stars!
