Impressive for compostable
I have tried a number of compostable bags, trying to reduce the plastic we use in our household, but have been severely disappointed when it comes to strength and handling. Often, compostable bags are tricky when tearing off. I have had to throw away so many bags just because they ripped when tearing off. I frequently also have to double or triple bag bc they will tear with certain produce or food items. This brand however delivers on its promise. It tears off the roll so easily with no risk of ripping! Plus, when I feel the ply, it noticeably stronger than other brands. You can use these bags with confidence. I was about to give up on compostable bags but Iâm very glad I ordered these!

Great product
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love this product. I wanted to reduce my use of plastic bags for food storage and so I thought I would try these. I think they are great and will continue to buy them, but there are some issues I suspect is a result of the material. When compared to plastic bags they do not seem to keep my vegetable as fresh for as long, and even though I wash my vegs and make sure they are as dry as possible before placing the the bags, after a few days the bags seem a little sticky (I suspect because they are compostable). This is not a big problem since I usually eat the veg within 3 days. So I will continue to purchase these.

Holy Scrap really becomes
The first time I ordered these bags they were great. Now, whenever is time to take the food garbage out the bag has holes and I have to put it into another bag so it doesn’t make an incredible mess. So essentially the 100 bags really turn into 50 uses. It’s really annoying. It seems they start composting within the first say of use. Living in California with ridiculous laws, but these just add insult to injury.

Works well!
So far I like these a lot. I do wish they had some type of zipper or seal but thatâs just hard to do when youâre trying to go plastic free so I understand why they donât. They are thinner material than your average storage bag but so far they seem pretty strong. I really like that they are compostable and biodegradable. They freeze well and they hold in freshness (weâve mostly used them for bread making so far). They come in a roll of 50 bags which is a good amount and theyâre very easy to tear off of the roll. Iâm really pleased so far!

Good for most items
Good for most items but not sealed so I donât find it to be good enough for cheese and the like.

Soo much better than ziplock bags.
Love these! I have been trying to make more sustainable choices, but have not been impressed with many of the reusable options. These are a game changer.
