Exactly what I needed. Waterproof – but no cushion
I was looking for a waterproof rug pad and this one is indeed waterproof. It also grips the rug well, and does not slip or slide on my hardwood floor. If you are looking for those qualities, this is a great buy. Easy to cut into shape. No smell. However, there is NO cushioning, no depth/thickness to this pad. It is exactly what I was looking for, but if you are looking to add some cushion or structure to a rug, this is not the one.

Waterproof and Silent!
Have not had any liquids spill yet, but I do think this will stop anything from going through to floor. One very exciting benefit that I didn’t anticipate – I purchased two washable rugs, and only one liner for my living room. The washable rug in my office makes a squishy/squeaky sound if the dogs walk in, though.This liner keeps everything completely silent in the living room, so I’ll be buying one for my office, too!

Pad significantly thinner than advertised
This pad was barely 1/8 inch thick when it was supposed to be 1/4 inch. It was too much of a hassle to move all the furniture again and then drive 50 min round trip to return, but Iâm not happy with the false advertising!

As pictured but stinky
I needed a very specific sized rug and this was it, its as pictured and nice and thick, came packaged well, but it stinks very badly not even chemically exactly, but unpleasant. Trying to let it air out but will likely have to shampoo before use which is annoying.
