Had large gaps, now filled!
I’ve had a few large gaps in my windows where the outside seal didn’t sit even close to the frame of the window. I’ve tried a few other weather seals but this one has been the best in terms of creating a somewhat airtight (or at least visual tight) seal by filling in the entire gap. I tried spraying some water all over my window that had a huge gap on top and I’m happy to report nothing made it in. We’ll see how long the sticky tape lasts and if there is any significant wear and tear but I’m glad this will actually allow me to use the windows as they can still fully function.

I made a cat door in my window and of course DIY it wasnât flush. This insulation strip was so easy to install and really keeps the heat in and cold out! I hope it lasts a long time. It sticks real good so get it right the first time!

Stops drafts, a bit tricky to install.
Overall happy as it does the job, but my window is not like the one shown in their instructions. My window is not very old and has a lip on the bottom edge to open. I was able to place this under that lip and still seal the bottom edge of my window. I would recommend this product. It is much easier than replacing the bottom seal of a modern window. It does allow occasional opening, but I’m not sure this would hold up to frequent opening and closing.

Puffer coat Insulation with Crimps
Think plastic cover over large puffed up volume make profile look larger than actual measurement. Reminds me of a puffer coat. Thin plastic over cheap airy foam punctures easily and creases are permanent. I roll came with creases every 2 to 4 inches that do not spring back when straitened creating faulty insulation. Cold air finds its way and streams in at crease negating all intended benefits The Bright neon white color cheapens the look further. I thought I could make it work and cut two strips and canât return. Garbage

Good quality adhesive and fits well. Only drawback is that the wrapper on adhesive is difficult to get started. Overall great product.
