Wonderful baskets
These are beautiful baskets. Had one little piece of grass untucked. They are sturdy and very easy to assemble. Do they smell? Yes! They are natural grasses, so they smell like cut grass or hay. Not offensive in any way, but rather pleasant and earthy. I would recommend and definitely buy again.

They make this old kallax unit look great and very organized. Very sturdy, easy to put together, look beautiful, made of natural materials around metal baskets. Yes there is a natural odor from the hyacinth. It smells like plants. People who complain about the odor shouldn’t buy products made of natural materials.

Cute, decent quality, good price
True to what is advertised! All 4 came and they were easy to pop up/unfold. They fit nicely in a cube dresser and also look nice sitting out. They are true wicker as bits and pieces are flaking off and causing some holes. I am using them for baby toy and book storage so they are used frequently and may add to the breakage. They are still very functional even with the small holes. I am happy with them, especially for the price. They do have a smell to them.. I would say itâs almost like a sour smell. Have had them for months and still smell. Itâs mostly noticeable up close.

These are strong, durable and a pretty way t9 hide clutter. Worth the price. They do have a strong smell, but it doesn’t smell bad to me personally (smells like fresh hay).

Smaller than Ikea – won’t fit file folders!
These are 1/2 the price of the similar Ikea cube baskets and just about 1/2 inches smaller.While they fit in Ikea furniture, turns out they are just slightly too small to fit a standard file folder. Of course, the Ikea cubes are where I keep files. Oh well. These were in addition to the ones I already had.That said, I am keeping them. They were incredibly easy to put together and well packaged. The material is quite a bit rougher than Ikea so the pieces don’t fit perfectly and I doubt they would stand up to heavy use – pulling out and moving a lot such as in a kindergarten – but fine for basic storage. They look quite nice in a Kallax unit. And yes, they smell. However, they smell like what they are – rushes. I find the smell very nice – beachy/woodsy.So for the price, a great deal even if I will have to store some files elsewhere…
