Effective, and a great price!
The product is amazing! When using other power strips and plugging in power blocks, the outlets are too close together, so you lose the ability to utilize each outlet effectively. This power strip eliminates the loss. It allowed me to plug in all of my cords without hassle, and I can use each plug. The price is really great, and is a great incentive to purchase this product. I highly recommend it to anyone who has numerous power cords of various sizes and is shopping on a budget. The mounting is easy and allows for good cord management.

Almost perfect!
Bought this to clean up all my power strips and for having room to plug in all my “wall warts”. This exceeded my expectations, as in, itâs solidly built and should be very reliable. Being around 4â long, I’ll only use it in a stationary location. Mine came without screws or bolts. No UL sticker either. I got the shortest cord (6â) which was fine for my needs. All in all this is still pretty close to perfect. I would recommend this and will definitely be buying another one. Since my first review Iâve bought two more. They are for use in a vintage movie theater. Replaced 11(!) extension cords. Iâll buy more as I need them.

Useful powerstrip for a garage!
The cord length was helpful because I had a long run to to make with a garage renovation install. The item works great and it’s nice to have so many outlets for tools and such when working.

Handy product, but not perfect
Nicely made and I like the spacing and orientation of the outlets. It’s lightweight and feels like it’s mostly plastic, which is fine for my application but might not be the best choice in certain workspaces. The only con for me is that the mounting brackets can’t be slid along the length of the powerstrip. The brackets could probably be modified if necessary, but as designed, they must be positioned at either end.

High quality and very safe internal construction, but mine lacked mounting brackets
Though the strip I received didnât come with wall-mounting brackets, I was highly impressed with the quality and safety of this 16-outlet stripâand Iâm a just-retired senior mechanical engineer. If I had to buy another power strip for use at a workbench or reloading bench in a home shop, Iâd buy this one again. As mentioned in the video, my power strip was U.L. certified. See photo.Though the box my power strip came in arrived with unbroken seals, it didn’t contain wall-mounting brackets. So if you are an advanced hobbyist and possess the necessary tools and fasteners, this strip can be disassembled and mounted very securely on a wall; though that takes some time, the quality of this makes it worth the effort. Maybe my box was a rare mistake; maybe not.In case many of these power strips ship without mounting brackets, I give this the following ratings:For sitting loose on the benchtop or floor: â â â â â For wall mounting by mechanically unsophisticated users: â ââââFor wall mounting by mechanically savvy users: â â â â âIf you DONâT have a Torx-10 (Star-10) drive bit, AND if you want this to be wall mounted (as opposed to sitting loose on the floor or bench top), this strip isnât for you.CAUTION: For those with the right tools, wall mounting without the brackets requires opening it up; that shouldnât be attempted unless you know what youâre doing and are sure it is unplugged while working on it.Some reviews here claim that only part of this strip is aluminum and the rest is plastic. Perhaps this product has evolved over time, but my stripâs construction comprised two solid aluminum extrusions that snap together and both are powder coated (âpaintedâ) black.Importantly, the receptacles have good grip on plugs and can endure repeated plug/unplug cycles without excessive decay in their unplug force (and an associated increase in their tendency to overheat after long periods of high-current use). This strip is U.L. listed and its construction reflects that; inside, there is proper insulation and grounding. I once bought a less-than-safe U.L.-listed espresso machine where the manufacturer exploited a U.L. program where manufacturers can self-certify their equipment and didnât properly ground the metal enclosure. Close examination of the internals of this CCCEI power strip was a welcome surpriseâI was genuinely impressed with its internal construction.See the video for more.________________________________UPDATE: I see in reviews posted over a year after I purchased my power strip, that the gold U.L. certification label (see photo) was missing. This *could* be because:1) U.L. did an audit and found nonconformities, or2) Because the company changed the design beyond permissible limits of U.L. standards and elected to not seek costly certification, or3) (Most likely, in my opinion), the company elected to not pay the annual recertification fee after having first obtained it.

Perfect for spaces where you need a long run of well spaced outlets.
Perfect for spaces where you need a long run of well spaced outlets. I picked up one of these for a credenza cabinet that has multiple devices. Itâs great because itâs heavy duty, has enough space between the plugs for bulky plug ends and has a length thatâs conducive to what I needed. The mounting plates seem fine. I didnât need to use them, but I canât see them being a problem for anyone who would need them. The plugs seem high quality and tight enough to keep a solid connection. It will likely stand the test of time for this situation, because there wonât be a lot of plugging and unplugging.I recommend this item because itâs about as good as it gets for a standard use power strip and the value was there.
