Totally inadequate as a fire pit; but useful for other purposes
This is made of thin metal. It was easy to put together. All the screws were the same. A fire would certainly burn this up in pretty short order. However, I’m using this to hold damp rags outside until I have enough to wash them in the washing machine. We have several young dogs and using paper towels used too many and became expensive. So I bought shop towels that I wash and reuse. I keep them outside on this rack until I have a load, so they don’t grow mold before I can wash them. This is effective and keep the wet towels up off the deck, and lets them dry. As a fire pit, this is totally inadequate. It’s too small, it’s thin, and it doesn’t have a lip to hold the embers in. It can certainly be repurposes for other uses, like I did.

The small size is just what I wanted, and it worked great at the campsite
I recently used this for the first time while camping. It was easy to assemble, and it is lightweight. Perfect size for a small, controlled fire that is easy to clean up after. We had a blast using this to make smores!

easy and small to keep
This was easy enough to put together if you think about the finished form. I did use a screwdriver (not included) to tighten the bolts holding the legs to the sides because fire goes in here and safety first. This is a small fire pit good for a backyard hangout or s’more buffet. It is very lightweight and I was a little concerned about carrying it to the yard as I thought I bent it pushing past the door. I won’t be leaving this out in rough weather.
