Plastic, not leather, sheath, but sharp blades and good as a box cutter
3.5 stars. The product description on the website says this comes with a leather sheath, but it’s definitely not leather; it’s plastic. I looked back at the listing to make sure I wasn’t losing my mind, and then I saw that one of the photos says plastic sheath, even though the listing says leather. I wish I’d seen the discrepancy before ordering; I wouldn’t have bothered. Parts of the body are also plastic, so I’m not sure this thing will stand the test of time, but hopefully so. I’ll be using it to break down boxes, so no heavy use for me, but for the cost, I expected something a little more durable. Be sure to note (because I didn’t notice it beforehand) that the blade does not retract, thus the importance of the sheath. The blades are very sharp, so that’s a real plus.

Professional grade!
This is a professional grade utility knife. The blade does *not* retract but instead comes with a holster for your belt to slide the knife into. It includes several blades, including one with a curved end for cutting carpet, which is the purpose of my purchase. The gold portion of the knife spins and opens the knife so the blade can be swapped out. There is also a section inside the knife to hold an additional blade. For doing big jobs, this is a great product!
