3 years with no issues
I’m writing this review after 3 years of ownership. I bought these just trying to brighten up my garage, and they do the trick perfectly, tons of light and huge help. My biggest concern was longevity, I have put these lights through the ringer, 3 years now with the lights being left on in the garage for at minimum half of that time, 24/7 and I have had zero issues what so ever. I absolutely recommend these lights and will buy them again without hesitation.

YOUR LED RETROFIT: Which is more practical…tubes or screw-ins with adjustable LED panels?
THE DREAM: You’ll refit your garage or workshop with an array of LED tubes that will blast so many photons down on your work area that you’ll feel like you’re working outdoors in Saudi Arabia when it’s 10:00 p.m……in Seattle…in January. And they’ll last for 50,000 hrs. Yup. You might not even live long enough to witness their decline.THE REALITY: On the permanent-to-disposable spectrum, LED lights are somewhere in the middle. You probably won’t get even half the advertised life span, but they’re still the most affordable source of illumination out there. So it doesn’t really make sense to spend hours rewiring your workspace for LED tubes that are going to need their own installation brackets and will use proprietary 3-6 ft. cables to connect them together, especially is you already have ordinary Edison sockets in the right place. Whatever LED setup you decide on, plan on periodic replacement of the LED-embedded fixture. Nothing lasts as long as you’d like it to.Adjusting the angle of the panels is helpful, so if you have reflector shields on your sockets that would get in the way of that, take them off. Even if you have to add or move sockets for ideal placement, that’s a relatively cheap and easy tweak. If you’re putting in new sockets from ground zero, try to place them above the rafters so that you don’t carelessly smash the light to smithereens when your attention is absorbed with the task of moving that 4 x 8 sheet of plywood to the other side of the garage.The light is dazzlingly bright. Is it really 12000 lux? Who knows? It’s BRIGHT. It’s also a good design for projecting the light where you need it so you may not need as many as you think. Start with a 2-pack. It might be all you need.

These things are awesome! They are a world of difference in lighting in my garage. At night time, the light is super bright and gets into corners my previous LED lights didn’t quite provide light to. I would definitely buy these again. They plug right in like screwing in a lightbulb.
