Well-made and sturdy.
Well-made product. Charged in the sun for about eight hours and both lights stayed lit all night. Very attractive design. Gives perfect amount of light, not too bright, but bright enough to lightly light up the area. These are very nice.

I wasnât sure what to expect with these solar lanterns, but theyâve been a great surprise. They charge up during the day and give off a warm, flickering glow that looks great on the patio at nightâlike mini campfires without the smoke.Theyâve handled a few rainstorms just fine, and I havenât had to mess with them once since setting them out.Would I recommend it? Definitely. Low-maintenance and great ambiance.

Great solar lights
I love the look of these lights. The light is quite bright and the battery last through the night. The metal cage will protect the plastic lens. The lens feels thick enough to last awhile I didn’t use the brackets, hung them on a double shepherds hook.

Works, but dimm
Setting up was easy and they look great! But they work more like marker lights. They don’t actually light up much around them, very dimm. They last through the night though, even on a cloudy winter day to charge them.

Love these. The style is just perfect. They function as stated and give our deck stairs, some light. Easy to assemble. They were working the first night although not had a full charge yet. I would like them a little larger in size but they absolutely do the trick and are adorable. I am hopeful the solar works for a few years at least. I love the solar concept but have yet to find long lasting options. Maybe these will be a long lasting win! Note, the metal is the hanger, not the actual lantern. Itâs a hard plastic. As long as it doesnât fade, itâs fine. I did think I was buying metal lanterns, but for the price, I canât expect that. Blessings!

I have more than a dozen of these and just bought a couple more. They’re not replacements, all of them are still working over something like three years later. The quality is so much better than cheaper lamps. When I bought my first ones they were dearer, (£70 a pair?) they’ve now come down to £50, and I think they were ‘dear’ originally, but were still good value (which is why I bought more) and now I would not call them dear. They are good metal (alloy) shells, real glass worried me a little but with one having blown off a hook in a heavy storm, fallen onto concrete and not having suffered any damage I conclude it is toughened glass. The black finish on the alloy (is it anodised? powder coated? just paint?) is not flaking at all, though after a couple of years UV is more like dark grey than black. The long filament LED is excellent, they’re brighter than most solar lights. Of course in winter when days are short and night are long they last less than summer, but I think burn time for charge time is very good. One plus is that they take replaceable rechargeable AA batteries which are easily found, but I have not yet had to replace a battery (over 3+ years) which is surprising. The surface of the solar panel is now starting to go ‘milky’ on the older ones, but they still charge okay. I have a gut feel I’ll get a good five years out of these, and cheap lamps are lucky to do two. They’re the best quality and value for money in my opinion.

Arrived excellently packaged. Material feels very solid and visually looks sturdy. Mounted easily (I opted for black exterior screws rather than the silver ones the package came with – #8 worked well for the pre-drilled holes on the hooks) – looks great. Hook goes around three quarters of the way so thereâs no concern of wind knocking the lantern off. Soft warm glow, not super bright which was the exact feel I was going for. Purchased two sets of 2 to start, and ended up getting another set of 2 to mount on the remaining posts in my yard. Well worth the price!

Lovely, classy lights – glass, not plastic. Very bright! One stayed on all night – was still on this morning – after a day that was not particularly bright. So I’ve bought some more. Not cheap, but I do think I am getting value for money with these, they are incomparable with the cheap superstore ones I have bought before. I just hope they keep working for years.

Massive fan of these. I have now bought 7 packs of these, and I’m going to grab 2 more. Top two best solar light purchases I’ve made off of Amazon. The ambiance is great, they only take 3 mins to install. I love that they hang, so can sway a bit in the wind. Not super bright but give off a wonderful vibe. Highly recommend these lights.Just need to see how they survive a northern winter. Fingers crossed! I wait for them to come on sale then I buy multiples.
