Fit is flexible. Extra-large size stretched to fit 2âx2â chair leg, yet stayed contracted enough to remain attached to a 2âx1-1/2â chair leg.The bottom is a harder plastic than the clear sleeve material, so time will tell if it leaves scratches. Difficult to tell based on scratches previously left by those white hard plastic disks favored by furniture manufacturers. Satisfied so far, if even for absence of harsh scraping sounds.Update: After a year of daily use my hardwood floors have some kind of micro- dust where the chairs slide back and forth. It cleans up with some Pledge and I donât see permanent scratches. However if youâre picky, you probably wonât be happy.

These fit perfectly on my chairs and I was even able to stretch them a bit wider to fit the legs on the bench for my dining room table. Easy to put on. Aesthetically pleasing. They do make a squeaking noise on the carpet. They do work well for the purpose they were bought.

One of the best purchases I’ve made in awhile!!
Just bought new dining furniture from the #1 online retailer (you know who it is.) Well we all do that from time to time to try and save a little coin. The question is whether you can live with or correct the inevitable flaws. In addition it is on an area rug over tile. Every single chair ended up wonky. One actually had a full 1/2 inch of daylight under one leg. I thought I would take a chance to see if I could correct it first before seriously thinking about returning, cause that never goes well….. To further complicate things the front legs tapered. Problem solved! I took felt pad(s) and stuck to the bottom of the affected legs and then put the caps on over. They have an excellent grip and once settle on are virtually transparent and they glide seamlessly on both the tile and the carpet. If you purchase the size that has a cap that matches the diameter of the bottom of the leg you will get a really secure fit. Excellent product!

These are a lifesaver for us. New house has wooden flooring with texture making sliding chairs in and out from the table difficult. These gliders are perfect! No scratching of the floors and so easy to put onto the legs of the chairs. We should have purchased these a long time ago at our other house!!

Good,but not great
Bought these chair slides to easily move our dining chairs. Our table is under an area rug, so we needed slides that move freely under hard and carpeted floors. Our previous ones were felted so hard to move on carpet. The previous ones though were of better quality. The cups that hold onto the legs was made of better rubber. Additionally, the hard tab on the bottom of the slide feels cheap quality like it’ll not last as long.
