This pool cleaner saved us this summer. Our pool was VERY dirty from red dirt that came from Oklahoma & Texas over the winter. We couldn’t get the pool clean & clear. This WYBOT worked like a charm cleaning our pool better than anything else. It climbs the sides of the pool & cleans great! It sweeps all the “gunk” on the bottom of the pool. It’s easy to download the app & set the WYBOT to clean in several different modes. The only downside is the fact that it’s heavy to carry. The value & the great cleaning is worth the heavier weight. I recommend this for great pool cleaning!

Iâve had this pool vac for about 3 weeks. At this point I am happy with its performance and ease of use. It does require an app to access the controls. It also comes with a kit to help climb the sides of some pools, My pool has a guinite surface with plumb walls and it has no issues cleaning them without the kit installed. It easily cleans my entire pool on a single charge. I would recommend this product.

This little robot is so awesome that we named him Aqua Tank! We have a 30000 gallon saltwater pool with inclines in the deep end. This super tank goes up the walls and scrubs the sides as well as getting all debris from the bottom of the pool. The large basket holds so much stuff for large and small but is very easy to remove and clean out with a hose. The app is easy to use and provides many options. We are sooooo happy with our choice because our pool has never looked better!

It’s falsely advertised
This has to be the worst pool vacuum to ever come onto the internet. There are several reasons, but the most important one is, they have zero customer service. To me that has to be one of or not, the most important feature behind any product, especially if one is purchasing via a third party or directly. When calling the “customer service” number, it will ring for about 20 rings, then you will hear a recording that says all customer service “people” are busy, call back. I called back about a dozen times and got the same message, and you cannot leave a call back number or leave a message. Secondly, when I connected with the “app”, it showed a battery charge of 67%. I left it to charge over night and when I checked it in the morning, it was still at 67%. If I was more than 3 feet away from the unit, the app could not find the unit. Allegedly the description in the sales write up, it says that you can control the unit, when in the pool, from the app. It tells a completely different story in the instruction manual. Don’t waste your time and most importantly, it’s made 100% in China, and for me that’s a huge problem. I have given the facts, you decide

Surprisingly efficient!
This works surprisingly well for such an inexpensive cleaner. It comes with its own hook for getting it out of the pool so donât order one separately (like I did). It will clean the whole pool in about 2nhours or less. Doesnât do well on the stairs but I have a vinyl pool and small stairs. Overall, I am very pleased with this. I had a Aquabot Jr. that my cousin had given me about 7 years ago and the power cord finally went out on it. This is great because no cord to get tangled up! I have a 16×20 inground with a deep end and it does great.

Works reasonably well as a replacement for my old RayVac. Does a fairly good job cleaning. The battery only runs about 2 hours and I wish it actually would run more like three, since it has to be charged fairly frequently. I got this on a prime deal for almost half price. I’m not sure I would pay $800 for the unit if it wasn’t a prime deal.

Surprised how much I like it.
I was slightly skeptical, especially when a product has so few reviews “so far”, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this. We bought a Hayward hose-powered vacuum as well, and it obviously wouldn’t do the walls. Well, I’m sick of brushing the walls of the pool and ordered this.Happy so far, does a great job. First time in the pool, it picked up WAY more sand and crap on the bottom of the pool that I couldn’t even see than expected (or expected that the Hayward would have picked up through the filter), so that was a pleasant surprise.The cap to seal the plug for charging could be a little better made as I’ve worried that I might not be screwing it on correctly, but it is functional.I also love that it cleans the walls! I know I mentioned that, but just wanted to say it again. Will update after more use.

Economically priced but the cons outweigh the pros.
I’ll try to stick to the facts of my experience. Pros: (1) It is great to have a cordless pool robot! (2) The basket is amazingly easy to access and remove. (3) Robot not easy to get out of pool when finished but Wybot improvised and now provides a hook to remove from the pool. TY! (4) The price. It was $600, way less than the corded Dolphin cleaner I bought 10+ years ago, which I paid $1000 for. Here’s the cons: (1) The battery charge takes ~3 hours and lasts one cleaning routine in my 20X40 pool. In other words, if I need successive cleanings ASAP, it’s not gonna happen without delays. (2) It did a terrible job of cleaning on the creases (i.e. where the bottom meets the side) of my vinyl liner pool. (3) It missed multiple spots of dead algae and other debris on the bottom in spots that were not creases (should be easy)…despite me RUNNING THE POOL ROUTINE 3 TIMES, which per the above took 18 hours and had to be done over multiple days unless you’re not sleeping. As a test, I then ran my 10-year old Dolphin cleaner with a cord…and it picked up the missed spots in one routine. So why did I get a new one? Because my 10-year-old Dolphin cleaner conks out on occasion. Conclusion: There are some nice features on this but the cons outweigh the pros, which is why I’m returning.

I’m a relatively new pool owner (2 years), but I was getting tired of manually vacuuming the debris and dirt at the bottom of my pool. It’s tough to get out the big, heavy hose, attach it to the brush and pole, submerge it in the water to get the air out, plug it into the skimmer box hole, turn up the pump to max speed, then slowly run it across the bottom for 45 minutes. That’s why I wanted to try the Wybot.This Wybot is my first pool robot vacuum so I have nothing to compare it to. I’ve run it a few times now, and every time, it has sucked up everything that was on the bottom. I’m not sure how it chooses a pattern but it seems to remember where it’s been and doesn’t backtrack. It takes a few hours to completely clean my pool. It can clean right up to the water line, which is very cool to watch as it climbs. But I’m more interested in cleaning only the bottom so I put that setting into the preferences in the Wybot mobile phone app and now it just does the bottom.Cleaning the basket is easy. You just open up the top of the Wybot, pull out the basket, and spray out the debris with water.My pool has a vinyl liner and the Wybot seems best for vinyl pools as the brushes are softer plastic, but the box contains some additional items to attach to the robot if you have a tile or concrete/gunite pool. These items will help it climb the walls.If the battery is empty, the charging time is about an hour.When finished, the robot parks itself at the side bottom of the pool. You pull the robot out of the pool with the included hook, which attaches to a regular pole. It’s easy to pull it up through the water from the bottom, although it’s a bit heavy when you do the final pull from the surface to the ground as the water needs to drain out from inside. After that, it’s not too heavy.Overall, I’m very happy with it and it’s saving me a lot of effort.

More time swimming – less time cleaning and vacuuming! Out of the box it only needed about an hour to charge! Instructions fairly straight forward. I have to admit that I was somewhat skeptical about how well this would work but after placing it in the water it went straight to work! It climbed my vinyl liner walls effortlessly – that was pretty impressive! Then it cleaned the floor of the pool. It does come with a floatation kit if it does experience difficulty climbing pool walls but it worked perfect in my pool so I didnât need to install the kit.At first I kept getting an App error. It occurred when I went to sign up for an account after downloading the free App (iPhone or Android ). It just kept giving me the message âunknown occurrence error.â I got annoyed and left it for a day and emailed WYBOT to report the error I was getting. The next day, I was able to register and start using the App. The App is amazingâ¦lets you pick wall and floor or just floor or just wall. You can also select your pool shape and surface material. You can also set the wall pattern as âUâ or âNâ patterning, and the floor cleaning pattern too (star, U, or #) patterns. Thereâs much more customization using the App.The internal screen is very fine! I would say like a reusable coffee filter. The only thing I feel about it is youâll want to take extra care to make sure your chemicals are balanced, especially ph and chlorine levels as I feel like the fine plastic mesh would easily become chemically attacked over time and become brittle or disintegrate and rip easily. Youâll also want to remove this as soon as it finishes to help prevent that. I do wish stainless steel meshing was used instead! That would be very helpful.This uses a rechargeable battery so keeping it out of the sun would be key! Also storage in a heated space would be a must over the winter and making sure it stays charged (for battery health).It does work well! I will admit! I think the screen might be the weakest part of its design but a small amount of spray-on furniture wax would greatly extend its service life! Iâm not usually impressed by robotic gadgets and things but I have to admit this thing really works a lot better than sand filter âladybugâ or âsharkâ return hose cleaners that scurry across the floor of the pool! Iâve used those in the past and they are terrible compare to this. Highly recommend!
