An excellent assortment of screws to have on hand for 3D printed projects.
If you’re into 3D printing at all then you’ll come across many projects that call for screws of various sizes; typically of the metric variety in either button head or cap head types. I prefer button head simply because they’re lower profile and provide plenty of strength for anything 3D printed.An assortment like this is a good way to get started; you have the most common sizes used in 3D printing projects and a decent variety of lengths. You’ll be using M3 the most, so it’s good that there’s more of those included. I haven’t inspected every single screw, but I did check a few of each size and they’re all good quality. The threads are clean and burr free and the heads are properly sized for the required hex keys (checked with my wera drivers). You also get a good amount of hex nuts, flat washers and lock washers for each size.They come in a decent plastic case with dividers that does the job. Nothing fancy.Keep in mind this set is alloy steel and not stainless, another material these assortments are comprised of; this means they’re stronger, but more prone to rust, so they’re covered lightly in oil for shipping. A quick wipe with isopropyl alcohol cleans them up before installing in projects. Just something to keep in mind.Overall, this is a great set to have on hand for 3D printed projects. If you don’t want to deal with cleaning up each screw, consider a stainless steel set instead. You’ll lose a bit of strength (but nothing really noticeable for 3D printed projects), but not have to worry about rust or cleaning the screws.

Saves multiple trips to the hardware store
I can’t describe how many times I’ve needed to go searching through my organizers for a sorely needed nut, bolt, washer, or screw, just to find that I need to head to the hardware store or chandlery for it.So, when I saw this set, I ordered it.These are 304 stainless steel, which means they’re good for just about any application that isn’t in constant contact with saltwater (buy the 316 stainless for saltwater).This box of parts includes #4-40, #6-32, #8-32, and #10-24 SAE screws in four lengths of each size. It also includes washers and nuts to fit each screw size, plus an organizer tray to fit everything.These are general purpose screws for “regular” types of applications where you need to either replace a missing screw, washer, or nut, or when you need to fasten something together.The price of this kit was quite reasonable for what comes in the box, and I’ve already used them to replace a missing screw holding a bird cage together.I think this kit is going to be a go-to for as long as it takes to run out of parts, and then the organizer will be there for whichever purpose I need it for later. I’m happy with the expected versatility and looking forward to when I can just go to the box instead of making a run to the store.

Nice assortment great to have on hand, hardware is durable just as other hardware I have used.
I got this for my Ski-doo snowmobile as that takes all metric flange bolts/nuts, so this worked out well for repairs and to replace hardware as needed. There is a nice assortment of different sizes, the hardware is well labelled in the lid. The black finish doesn’t really chip or come off when torquing down the bolts. Threads are spec on as they mesh well with the built in nuts/threading that is on the sled.

Strong, sorted, and ready for every little fix
I grabbed the 1760-piece hex socket cap kit for my 3D printer mods and small electronics, and itâs already saved me a few late-night hardware runs. Iâve used the M2 and M3 sizes the most for mounting fans, boards, and brackets, with a handful of M4 and M5 on a bike bottle cage and a monitor arm.Quality feels solid. Threads are clean, heads are consistent, and my hex drivers seat snugly without cam-out. The grade 12.9 alloy steel has real bite, so I can torque down on PETG and aluminum parts without rounding. Washers and nuts match cleanly, no odd sizing.Durability has been great so far. No warped threads, no soft heads, no mystery burrs. The black zinc finish has handled a couple of sweaty garage sessions fine. For long-term outdoor stuff Iâd still reach for stainless, but for indoor projects and printer enclosures this coating is holding up.Functionally, the assortment hits the sweet spot. You get the right spread of lengths across M2 to M5, and the labeled compartments make it fast to find what you need. The four included hex keys work in a pinch. I still prefer my own drivers, but itâs nice having them in the box.Bottom line. If you build or repair 3D prints, small gadgets, or furniture bits, this is a dependable, no-nonsense kit. Strong fasteners, clean threads, and a practical range of sizes that actually get used.

TERRIBLE — mixed M3 and M4
This “M3 screw kit” contained a mixture of M3 and M4 screws. False advertising, half the kit is effectively junk.

Ad says grade 12.9 – packaging says 10.9 – i got a mixture of both….
Being a jack of all trades, AND MASTER OF NONE, I’m a big DIY fan.  Having an ample supply of nuts, bolts, screws, washers, and such, on-hand, in a wide variety of sizes, is a godsend.A good supply of M6 hardware is most useful, and the AHRAHR M6 assortment is a good kit to have on-hand.  The 510-piece assortment contains a wide range of lengths from 10mm to 35mm, including nuts and both flat and lock washers.  Although the ad list the hardware as grade 12.9, the packaging label specifies grade 10.9.  Grade 10.9 is good for most automotive work and structural applications.  NOTE – I checked the head markings of several pieces and found my kit contains both 10.9 and 12.9 bolts.  Unless you’re building a rocket to Mars, not to worry.  10.9 will work for 99% of most DIY projects and repairs.The kit comes in a nice plastic case and all hardware is well oiled and should remain rust free for years.  Pricewise, saving one trip the hardware store for that one bolt you don’t have, makes this 510-piece kit a good bang for the buck.  Overall quality seems very good, and aside from the grading snafu, still a 5-star product and a recommended buy.
