Great pet camera that does NOT require a paid subscription!
I was looking for a pet camera that didnât require a paid subscription to use its main features and this one ended up being a great choice! I love being able to set up a [Privacy Protection] schedule so that the camera is only in use when Iâm at work and have to leave my dog alone. I put some of his kibble in to use the treat thrower feature and itâs nice that it can be put on a schedule as well (I have it dispense some a couple hours before I wake up because my dog throws up sometimes in the morning if he goes too long with an empty stomach). The overall picture quality and automatic night-vision when the room is too dark are fantastic. You can also customize the sensitivity of push notifications for detecting motion, humans, pets, etc.It seems like the cloud storage records up to 6 seconds of video for its alerts (motion, loud noises/barking, etc) which is perfect for me. The paid subscription service lets you record longer and one option has an âAI intelligent analysisâ, but Iâm using just the base product with no paid subscription. I havenât tried it either but it looks like you can also insert a micro-SD card as well, which I assume would let you record/store longer videos beyond the default 6-second alert recordings that are free, but Iâm not 100% sure.It was pretty easy to set up and I like the ability to move the camera 360 degrees all through the app (there is only horizontal movement; no vertical movement, so I personally like to keep it off the ground about a foot or two). The app is pretty intuitive/easy to use. It has suction cups on the bottom so it attaches to smooth, hard surfaces pretty well. If youâre looking for a pet camera that doesnât REQUIRE a paid subscription, then Iâd highly recommend this one! It even seems like itâs a great security camera to have in the house as well. Iâve only been using it for a week so far but I havenât had any complaints so far.

Simple and Perfect
Very nice, especially for the price and not needing a subscription! Works great to check on my cat and give her dental treats while I was out of town. Camera is very clear and I love the auto tracking feature as well as being able to manually look around. The movement sometimes freaks out my cat but she comes running when she hears it throw a treat (launches it about 2 feet) or my voice coming out of it.App is pretty basic and easy to use. Distinguishes pet/pet shaped things (bird shaped toy and picture of cat register as pets) and gives notification when it sees it. Notifications group together so you can clear all with one swipe. App also save a 6 second clip when it detects motion so even if you miss them live, you can still see what your pet is up to.

Inconsistent
This device doesn’t always shoot treats (even when holding the trigger the correct length of time), and sometimes it shoots up to 4 at once (causing fights among the dogs). I’ve tried all the trouble shooting tips.
