    Essential Tool for Precision Woodworking
The ruler has been a game-changer in my DIY projects. Crafted from durable aluminum alloy, it’s lightweight yet sturdy, making it easy to handle during measurements. The anodized surface is smooth, and the laser-etched scales are clear and resistant to wear, ensuring long-term accuracy. This tool is perfect for marking precise 45° and 90° angles, especially when working with square wood, pipes, or other three-dimensional materials. Its versatility makes it a must-have for carpenters, engineers, and DIY enthusiasts alike. It’s an affordable investment that enhances the precision and efficiency of your work. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their woodworking accuracy.

Smallish, but actually surprisingly handy and usable.
Amazingly handy to keep next to the saw or project. I actually didn’t realize how small this was before I ordered it. When it came I was a little skeptical about its utility. It sat next to the saw for a while, with me eventually grabbing it out of convenience to square a saw blade. The is what made me realize how handy it was to check squareness or a 45* angle quickly, or in situations where space is at a premium and a regular carpenters square won’t fit. It actually comes out as much as my normal square these days.So I’m real happy with it. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in utility.

Small gab causes it to not be perfectly level or straight
This square appears to be decently made for its price point, but it isn’t without flaws. The construction is solid enough, and the finish is clean with no labeling issues. However, when placed on a flat surface, the edges do not sit perfectly flush, causing the 90-degree angle to have a very slight slope. It’s a small gap, likely due to the two-piece assembly and the screw-in design, but it could affect accuracy if you need precise lines or measurements. For basic marking or rough layout work, it may still serve its purpose—especially at this price—but I wouldn’t rely on it for applications where accuracy is critical. If you’re okay with the slight misalignment, this could still be a handy tool to keep around for casual use.

    Useful 3D angle
I’m always trying to make an angle work on a 3rd dimension to get the “right” angle. This solves that.It comes in 2 pieces that screw together. It is quite solid after you do that.

A handy little square for marking 90’s and 45’s
There is an old woodworking saying that you can never have enough clamps. I think the same is true of squares – and this one is exceedingly handy. This little saddle square arrives in two pieces so it can ship flat, but it is very well machined and fits together with two Allen head bolts (wrench included). I’ve used it to mark out a face frames and layout a mortise on a garden bench I’m building. I wouldn’t trust it to set up machines, but it is plenty accurate enough for most woodworking. The square has metric markings which of course makes total sense except to a backward American used to the imperial system. It is anodized red aluminum, easy to spot in a pile of sawdust.

    Good for small projects
While tool snobs would complain about a tool like this, normal people would be happy and pocket the savings they don’t spend on the absurdly priced tools. The pros: I used a caliper to measure the accuracy of the measurements and it 20 mm measured as 20.01 on this; It’s made from sturdy but light weight aluminum; It sits flat and has a 90 degree angle; and the paint job is good. By contrast, the cons: One of the photos shows that the tool is about a fingernail width from being flush; the measurements are only metric; the lettering is white on a red background and makes it difficult to read based on the light reflection; and since the numbers are not embedded, they may wear off over time.

    Square and true
I was a little worried this would be slightly off square, but it’s right on the money. It comes in very handy when making a clean line on two sides of a square tube, or 2×4, or anything really.Glad I got it
