I purchased this 3D Printer Filament Vacuum Storage Bags Kit for my son who has recently gotten into 3D printing. He had filament opened everywhere. Not only do these bags help keep his filament dry but also helps with organization. The bags are large enough for a couple spools. The electric pump works well and is extremely quick for how little it is. Great investment!
My fiancé got into 3D printing at the beginning of the year and he has built up quite the collection of filament. Unfortunately itâs really humid where we live so leaving the spools out in the open air isnât a great idea. I saw this and decided we could give it a try! The bags feel durable and they are very spacious. I love that it comes with the silica gel packs and the vacuum sealer works great! The bags are clear so we can see the filament through them easily and it helps so much with print quality since we are keeping them out of the humidity. Overall we are thrilled with them!

Not all bags hold seal.
So far I have had 2 bags out of the first 10 not hold a seal. Other wise the bags that do hold seal and pump work great. Had the bags sealed for a week for the ones that are holding so far.

Great way to preserve your filament
I recently purchased the 3D Printer Filament Storage Bags Vacuum Storage Kit, and Iâm impressed with its performance so far. The cordless electric pump, which charges quickly via USB maintains enough power to vacuum seal several bags on a single charge. The pump removes the air adequately just not really fast.The bags themselves are essentially somewhat larger than a gallon sized zip lock bag, making them perfect for storing standard filament spools with room to spare. The bags are very well made and durable. Much stronger than a gallon sized zip lock bag. The double-zip sealing (blue and yellow make green) combined with the vacuum valve creates an airtight compartment to keep out moisture.Overall, this kit has proven to be an excellent solution for maintaining the quality and extending the lifespan of my 3D printing filaments. Definitely would recommend.
