Good value for this flooring installation kit!
This is actually a very nice little kit. I will probably only have regular use of the rubber mallet and the steel pull bar because friends and family are always asking me to install floors for them. At first glance I thought the rubber hammer was a bit too small. Truth is, itâs smaller than the rubber hammer I normally use. However, though small it definitely has the weight of my larger hammer. So it looks and feels like it will be easier to wield in tight spots. And anyone who has installed floors knows the tight spots I am talking about where you wind up having to look for something like a small block of wood because your hammer is too big to wield. So, this hammer looks like it will really be most useful tool in my arsenal. The pull bar is also slightly smaller than what I currently have but for me it is actually the ideal size and will be replacing my current pull bar. Itâs definitely high quality steel and has soft felt cushions on the surface thatâs always in contact with the floor, so it will not scratch. Perfect!Regarding the suction tool, I toyed around with it on my carâs windshield and it suctions like crazy glue! LOL! That thing is super strong! I donât see using it on a regular basis, but having it in my arsenal of tools is awesome because I know I will need it at some point. At the time of this writing the kit lists for $24.99 and thereâs a clippable coupon bringing it down to $22.49. Make no mistake, these are quality made tools! For the price, I believe you are getting a great value! I completely recommend this kit and am giving it 5 stars!

Handy Kit for Laminate Floor Repairs
The LOZAGU 4-piece floor gap fixer set is a neat little kit thatâs really useful when your laminate planks shift or gaps appear. What Works Well:⢠The aluminum suction cup tool grips the plank surface firmly, letting you pull the board into alignment without scratching or damaging the finish. The lever design gives you control over how much force you apply.⢠Once youâve pulled the plank close with the suction tool, the rubber mallet and accompanying tapping bar let you tap the piece snug into place against its neighbors, ensuring tight joints.⢠The aluminum and steel components feel solid and resist bending, which is important when dealing with stiff boards. The rubber mallet head is firm enough to deliver impact without marring surfaces.⢠The set is compact and easy to carry around, so I could move from room to room without fuss. No need to disassemble large portions of flooring for minor adjustments.⸻What to Keep in Mind:⢠On very textured or glossy laminate surfaces, the suction cup sometimes struggles to maintain full grip. It helps to clean the surface first or dampen slightly.⢠You canât force boards too far beyond their designed expansion gaps. Pushing too aggressively might stress the locking edges.⢠This set is excellent for small gaps or misaligned planks, but for severely warped boards or major miscuts, youâll still need more extensive repair or replacement.⸻Bottom Line:This LOZAGU floor gap fixer kit is a smart little tool kit for anyone installing or maintaining laminate flooring. For minor shifts, cosmetic gaps, or settling, it gets the job done with care and precisionâjust donât expect it to correct major structural issues.

Good Set of Useful Tools for Floating Flooring.
Good Set of Useful Tools for Floating Flooring. This set would have been so useful when I installed floating solid wood flooring in most of my house. I say âwould haveâ since I recall the planks moving when persuaded with a rubber hammer. That was then, now a couple of years later the planks seem to have âdug inâ, and stubbornly donât move much, if at all. In other words, once your floor is settled in, donât expect much âfloatingâ or correction of installation errors at some late date. So this tool set looks good for ongoing flooring jobs and many others. The rubber mallet is a convenient size, and by the modest odor I believe the head is made from real or reclaimed rubber. The plastic hammer is also a convenient size, maybe a bit small for some jobs. The pry-bar is heavy gauge steel and painted. The suction tool compresses to expel out a good deal of air, clutching tightly onto clean floor boards; and also should be useful for glass and smooth panel lifting. I like this set, even though my misplaced floor planks wouldnât budge, so Iâm rating it 5*.

Sometimes, ‘good enough’ is really all you need.
Over the years I’ve bought ‘professional grade’ tools. If you know you will be using a tool a lot then ‘professional grade’ is a good choice. But sometimes you only need something that is ‘good enough’.I’m getting ready to install flooring in our retirement home. Once this project is over, these tools will mostly sit in a box in the ‘barn’. I don’t need expensive ‘professional’ tools. I need cost effective tools that will get the job done. These tools are what just I need. They are good tool that will get the job done. They may not be ‘professional grade’ but any swearing going on won’t be about these tools. The dead blow hammers I found on Amazon tend to come in sets of three. I only need one. And most the choices I found cost as much or more as this set of tools. These tools will do the job and when it’s over I won’t be thinking about how much they cost.Sometimes, ‘good enough’ is really all you need.

Strong suction, Solid construction
The suction cups are seriously strong. As a test I applied them to my dining room table top (pictured) and was able to lift the table using just the handles. I was pretty surprised. The hammers and crowbar seem equally well made. I’m laying new flooring in the basement and these have already reduced the time it takes to lay the flooring. I’m glad I ran across this set.
