Amazing have had it thru winter and part of the summer zero issues
Easy to install clean look only down side unless your dryer has a leaf blower strapped to it this vent the vanes donât open very far maybe 1/4-1/2â with the el-cheapo plastic ones they would open over an inch just replaced my dryer due to it not heating same with new dryer so I know itâs definitely the vent itself been like that since new has not affected performance of it though when dryer is off vent seals shut very nicely and cleanly love the included seal that fits the back seals around my brick beautifully if this ever fails i absolutely will buy another directly from this very same company i absolutely love this vent no noises nothing high quality stainless not so much as a spec of rust like lesser materials screws are included however as tight as it fits I never had to use them slipped it in the pipe and snugged it up to the brick been that way since hasnât moved at all

Pretty well made
Sometimes I see items on here and wonder if it’s going to suck. Like is it made well, is it riggable because it’s not quite right and im to lazy to send it back, or is it garbage?Well, for what I needed, it’s great. It’s steel, the vents work awesome and it looks good.

High-Quality Replacement for Plastic, but slightly too heavy flaps for air flow
I replaced my old Deflecto plastic louver dryer vent with this. Very easy swap, especially since the dimensions are the same as the one I was pulling. Seems well-built and will certainly last longer than the cheap, sun-stained, chipped PVC of the old unit.My only gripe, and I do mean only, is that the metal flaps are simply too heavy. My dryer barely opens them when running, even without putting the adhesive foam backing on them. A thinner gage material for the flaps would do wonders for this unit and would permit me to give it 5 stars.

Great easy product
Looks great. Especially compared to my old one.I first installed the included adhesive foam strips on the edge of the flaps, cutting a small bit with a utility knife from the edges. Then struggled slightly with getting the rubber gasket to stay in it’s proper place but ultimately prevailed.It was easy to install in my current 4 inch wall pipe. I used a 3/8 drill bit for the holes in my brick siding after lining it up in my desired location.It’s quiet and the flaps close when not in use. I’m not installing an additional screen due to heavy lint build up from drying blankets all the time but still feel protected against critters.I wish it came in black but stainless steel looks good. Would buy again but seems like it’ll last for years to come.Their customer service reached out to see if I was satisfied with the product and offered a partial refund for the gasket ‘issue’. I declined but it was a nice gesture nonetheless.Would recommend.

Great upgrade
Several of the louvers in my plastic vents were broken or missing. I usually replace the louvers, but that’s a temporary fix. I saw these on Amazon and thought they’d be a great solution. It’s so nice to be rid of the crumbled, sun-stained plastic. These look great and work well.The only thing I would do differently is not put the foam on the back of the louvers for the dryer vent. The foam got damp and collected lint. I removed it the best I could, but the glue is very sticky and not easy to remove. So I’d recommend not putting on the foam in the first place. It’s fine on the other vest (e.g., bathroom fans), but probably not necessary because I doubt they’d be noisy, even when it’s very windy.
