Very easy to install and reduced my electric bill
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this product for its design and the ability to seal all of my doors. It comes in a 40 foot strip so I was able to do several doors with each strip. I changed out the seal on every single one of my exterior doors. It definitely will prevent air from leaking in the winter and hot air coming in during the summer. I am so pleased with this product. It has a nice thickness unlike the other  products that I looked at. It was very easy to install. This weatherstripping isa great value for your money. I recommend this product to everyone. It will save you energy and reduce your electric bills. It helps to make your home very energy efficient. Who doesnât want to reduce their electric bill?ð¤£ð¤£

Has a break-in period
After I installed this, the door was hard to latch. I thought that I’d gotten the wrong size, but after about a week of use it was easier to close.

Know what kerfing is before you buy this mother of all door weather stripping!
Wow! What a beefy weather strip! I’ve always been disappointed with foam strips in the past, but these finally deliver. Regarding value for the money, these are way nicer than other strips I’ve seen that cost a lot more. As others have said, they can be too big for some people’s doors so take a close look at the measurements. At first my door wouldn’t close, but my handy man showed me how to adjust the door jam to deepen the pocket for the door without having to take apart the frame, though it did require sanding, spackling, and repainting the door frame. Also, make sure you know what “kerfing” is. If you don’t know what kerfing is, then this might not be compatible with your door. You have to have the kerf slot all along your door jam to insert the kerfing flange. These will not work with an adhesive strip and it does not have any. That is not how they are designed. This was a more complicated install than adhesive foam weather stripping, but I was able to do it and more satisfied with the result. Every person’s door is going to vary on difficulty.Others have mentioned their kerf slot not being big enough. Yes, you could trim the plastic potentially. Another option is if you have a multi-tool, you could run it along your kerf slot to deepen it. Carpenters also have a tool specifically for cutting a kerfing slot which could be added to almost any wooden door frame. So even if you don’t have kerfing, but want to upgrade your door to higher quality seal, you might still consider this. All in all, I’m glad I got this and I learned something about doors that was really cool. Or should I say warm?

Value pack of door weatherstrip
For a repainting of the front door and jamb I pulled out the old weatherstrip that was cut from furniture, dirty from the dogs, and had rust from the door (again from the dogs), and cleaned painted everything and then installed this new weatherstrip. Use your old weatherstrip as a guide to measure the new pieces. Set this in the right place. If you have to remove it, the PVC flange, as they call it, can rip out of the weatherstrip and stay in the jamb kerf. The material is thick and the door will close tighter, some of it will stay compressed after a few days. If you don’t have much of a gap in your doors this weatherstrip may not work for your doors. The black went well with the dark brown paint of the door.

Good quality weather stripping.
This worked perfectly for replacing some worn weather stripping on my doors. It was a bit of a tight fit inserting the seal into the opening in the door but that would insure a good tight fit though.

Good value
This weather stripping works well for replacing kerf style door weather strips. Also included are 8 corner seals and wipes to help adhesion of the corner seals. The strips are a little thick and may be tight for a while but will compress over time. It is made in China.
