Surprised and disappointing.
Surprised: this is made much better then expected. And it was packed well. 4 stars.Disappointing:1. -1 one star: one cosmetic piece was missing which is surprising because this is well made.2. With 6 speeds, I wish #1 fan speed was half as fast as it is. This is because in winter I want to move air to help circulate the heat, but not make it cold in the room.

A Unique, Quiet Running Plug In Ceiling Fan
Thatâs a beautiful ceiling fan. It has a 42-inch diameter. Itâs a blocking color or remote-controlled device, featuring a DC motor. Yet, it plugs into a standard 110V, 15A outlet, eliminating the need for electrical wiring. This makes it suitable for use in a living room, patio, or bedroom, and it can be used both indoors and outdoors.This is a great product and a great ceiling fan. It operates at 110 V and utilizes a rectifier to convert the AC voltage to DC, which then powers a DC motor. No electrician required. Plug it into a regular 110V US outlet with a 15-amp service.You can hang it from a beam or hang it from a wooden ceiling. Simply using a hook installation is quick and easy. The easiest way is to find a beam screw a hook into it that supplied and hooked to the hook the fan onto the hook, then find a plug to connect it so it would be nice if a plug in the ceiling would make it look a little neater. Still, if you donât have a plug in the ceiling, you could run it down from the ceiling with extension cords and staple the wire carefully to the wall, extending it to the plug, where you can plug it into a 110 V outlet.Once youâve gotten it hooked up, which is route way easy then you can use the remote to turn it on and off at well using the remote you can control the three lighting temperatures 3000 K 4500 K or 6500 K. You can deem it from 10% to 100% You can use the light and fan independently of one another and better yet for those people who live in a northern climate, you can reverse the fan and make it blow up or make it blow down member in the summer. You want to blow up in the winter and blow down in the summer, because heat rises and cold air falls to the bottom of the DC motor, which is running. Itâs below 25 dB and very quiet.Itâs also waterproof, so you can use it on an outdoor patio if youâd like. As long as the plug you use is a waterproof one, youâll have no problems with this device whatsoever. The power cords supplied by the manufacturer are approximately 200 inches in length. This is an excellent product and one that will suit your home.You do not need a separate on switch because you have the remote control. You can turn the light on and gain complete control over both the light and the fan using the remote control.

Well made, I donât care for the wire/plug
This is a nice fan and it seems to be a decent quality, but Iâm not a fan of the plug-in option. I prefer a wired fan. I think itâs a neater look.

Quiet motor and moves a lot of air
I needed a ceiling fan for a small enclosed breezeway, 8′ x 12′ with 8′ ceilings. Installed, this ceiling fan hangs just less than 13″ from the ceiling using the shortest included downrod. It comes with two downrods, I used the shortest one. The motor is quiet and it moves a lot of air.This ceiling fan is designed to receive power off of the included cord that plugs into a standard outlet. As you can see in the picture, I chose to hardwire mine as there was electrical already in the ceiling junction box. It worked, but increased the difficulty of the install tremendously. The light is bright but is dimmable using the included remote control. You can also adjust the temperature of the light … yellow, natural and white. The fan speed and direction can also be adjusted with the remote.It’s a nice, modern ceiling fan. I deducted one star because I don’t consider it a good value for the money at $99.99 (at the time of this review) for a 42″ fan. If you’re installing somewhere that doesn’t have electrical and you need to run power to it from a nearby outlet, then this ceiling fan will be very functional for you.
